For a year now I've been constantly told by everyoen how absaloutly unbelievably amazing parties get after you finally make your way to whitegate.

My first colibri party today, huzzah! Yay!
And it starts out not half bad, 350-500 exp per kill, decent fast kills.. but really not much better than lv 30... or 40 or 25...
Whatevs, it's good exp. For half an hour.
Then on monster number, 20? The ninja, who was supposed to eb tanking, randomly afks right as I pull. But she said "emergency" so whatever. Rdm dies, I shout for rais ebut he hps, no biggie, it was my fault I guess for pulling so fast that someone ended up dying, I even offered 10 reward for raise, but meh...
Anywho, nin is afk for good 15 mins, so we drop her and he gets someone new. Half an hour later they get here while mnk switches to .nin, and the drk DCs.
Then the drg is perma afk (prolly fell asleep, as I write this he's still standing there) so the leader still good natured and trying to get the party back on track asap keeps getting members.
Eventually we're back up to 6/6, 5 of which are at camp, one almos there. ok, pull! let's go, whoo, gonna get lv 56, and wear my af feet, rawww!
And he pulls the NM. Claims it wa son purpose and books it, but not after half of us got hate in a vain attempt to save ourselves. Slaughter ensues.
He then states it was actually his provoke macro that voked the closest mob... Ok who makes a pull macro that pulls closest mob?
What happens if your in a place like CN (not their specificly but good example) Wouldn't that then make you voke a lizzard instead of crawler? Huh?!
Whatever, I don't pull much so amybe it's common practice.
Ok, so we wipe, and then as the members are otw back, the monk gives us a {Take Care} and {Good Bye} and disbands.
Well Honcho, our ever perservering leader, manages to get yet another member otw, wow this guy is good, I think he managed to get like 11-12 people in near to 10 secs each. Skills.
So now here I am, sitting in the same spot for an hour straight as the memebers otw, and after half an hour of partying I've got like 20 mins left to maybe get level 55, let alone 56...
Props to Honcho, the most amazing leader I've had, who didn't give up no matter what.
And a frown at the monk that randomly disbanded from the party. Bad practice!
And a frown at all of you for telling me these camps were the shit. Maybe it was a bad though, I was expecting chain 65s, not massacres...
