This is likely going to be long, so the tl;dr version: I finished my Gjallarhorn tonight after a 2-year odyssey thanks to a sizeable loan from a friend, and a final 30 loan from Aylorin and Courtney. Thanks guys!
Now for the l;r'd version:
I owe a lot of people a large portion of my soul for helping me out with this huge undertaking, an undertaking so big that really only other people who upgrade can understand just how much it is.
First and foremost: The Nightblades! Mai Ikari (my waifu), Seikatsu, Tsiife, Kermadec, Lyall, and everyone else in the NB shell that supported me and loved me the whole way. My relic was largely self-funded (I didn't get a Dynamis sponsorship until I was already 15 100cs into stage 4), but I wasn't alone--I always had shellmates willing to farm with me, or donate coins, or just cheer me on during those long lonely days and nights toiling away at this. Words don't even mean anything to thank them, so I'll just say that you guys have my heart and I love you all forever and ever <3
Rampagesama: Also a Nightblade, he helped me out big-time on the final day of my journey. I was about 55/100, and he got a surprise windfall from a KS99, and he lent me half of the profits (a sizeable amount) to buy 15 100cs with, even finding them on the open market himself. I'm never making you come BLM in Dynamis again Rampy! (Unless I have to >.>;; )
Courtney and Limitless leadership: Limitless picked me up as a sponsor and took me the rest of the way through stage 4 since about April/May of this year. Thanks for believing in me Court!
Limitless: And to all of my regulars in Limitless, Jeska, Arthur, Quiz/Proce, Dragonsword, Hoiy, Nemissa, Nickie/Nickdwizard, Toqabowl, Turkloom, Yuriko, Jaise, Ilana, Sakura, more than I can name (and if I forgot you I apologize, it's 2 a.m. and my brain is fuzzy!), thank you so much for all of your hard work, and for backing me up all these months while I pushed to the end. Sorry but you guys are stuck with me a few more months while I repay that 15 100c loan ;P
Galiant: I bet he'll be surprised to find himself on this list, but he has a special significance to my relic quest--he was the one who first encouraged me to begin the long road, who talked me into making the leap and applying for a sponsorship, who kept me upbeat when I was denied, and who always seemed to believe I could pull it out even when I didn't think so myself. Thanks a bunch Gali
Finally, as a word of advice to everyone who avoids endgame, people who are in small social shells and dream of doing something big--don't be afraid to reach for it. When I began working on my relic, I was in a small social/roleplaying linkshell and my friends got me through all of the rough days. Dreams really can come true with hard work and perseverance.
