Whiplash is here because he's been in comics for a long time. Mickey plays the part well. Iron Man was my favorite character growing up, but he didn't really have any memorable bad guys honestly, I mean Mandarin was his greatest enemy (outside of the bottle which was what Iron Man really dwelt with), which isn't saying a lot.


Ultron is another baddie, though he's more Avengers, still, he's appeared in Iron Man a few times.

Yep. I do wonder, though, if for the Avengers film if they will have Ultron as the enemy, or the Hulk - I know there's been talk of both.

It looks like Marvel might be trying to build up to an Ultimate Avengers movie. Sammy J as Nick Fury (at least I think I saw him, can't remember which movie) and Stark cameo at the end of the Ed Norton Hulk movie saying he's putting together a team.

Maybe some conflict with the Hulk, but it looks like from that last scene in the Hulk, that Banner is learning or has learned to control the Hulk which is definitely more normal Avengers instead of Ultimate Hulk (though i haven't read it since 2nd season, when Millar/Bendis left).

I'm thinking we'll see Loki as a baddie which is where the Thor part will come in. Though who knows?
