although the grass may not be much greener on the other side....what if the gil buyers DID stop buying?
A. more crafting competetion
B. more farming competetion
C. less people to party with cause said people will be farming or earning gil the legit ways.
D. more NM competetion.

So its a double edge sword (I think thats the saying)

You're arguing that it's better to have people running around with the best gear that didn't earn/work for it, rather than have a bit more competition? If you take out buyers, you take out sellers. If you take out sellers camping all the spawns, then thats all the more stuff the serious gamers get to camp and actually use their skill on.
I've seen enough high lvl's running around with the best gear that don't even know where a NM/HNM/god spawns let alone how to actually kill it.

no no no mire you got me all wrong....I have been saying this whole thread how much I hate buyers and sellers however, I was just saying look what would happen if I got my way and they were all banned.

No gil sellers mean stuff for cheap. When stuff for cheap everyone won't have to farm as much... and NPC money = Greater value.

Not necessarily. Gil farmers make their money by bringing goods to the market. Less Gil Farmers = less goods. And Gil Farmers don’t go after NPC gil, so they increase the goods in the market without increasing the money in the market, therefore increasing the value of gil. Now, they may use monopolization tactics to inflate the price of goods, but which is worse, the inflation caused by less Gil Farming or the Gil Farmers monopolization tactics, I don’t know.
