Is Sam/Drg a good combo?

Do we know when this patch actually is going to take place yet? It's a patch that will drastically alter the Samurai job.

Yes, I admit the mistake. Post patch, 30 seconds (15 with JA activated). Pre-patch, 1 minute.

Recast is still going to be 1 min. 30 seconds with the JA active for it. Only the duration is going to be changed to 30 seconds.
 
Seigan (Level 35; Recast: 1 minute; Duration: 5 minutes)
Grants a bonus to Third Eye when using two-handed weapons.

that's how it works, they are making it better, not worse.
 
And its about fricken time, too. Third Eye could do with some improvements, and I'm glad to see that SE is making these changes.

I'm also pretty stoked about Hasso as well.

I doubt it, unless counter and keeping the effect of third eye is really good for SAM main. While we do have better DEF than NINs, and much better parry than PLD, I don't see this making SAM able to main tank. Maybe SAM and NIN will be a better combo though huh.
