I would also like to Re-itterate (sp), He did make a form of an apology, but again my purpose here is to show someone who blew a lid for no good reason, and is OK with it. He did apologize but he also gave the "Its just the way i am" defense.

Also, after the party ended he /shouted for a warp scroll or a D2 then when i was nearing Rabao he asked me to lead him to Rabao since he did not know the way from the beetles camp, i refused to help, kept bugging me i told him to go to C-12 (Opposite side of rabao lulz) then he challenged me to Pvp =P and i think told me to bang a dhalmel or something idk.

Yes. I could have scrolled up, but as you would have noticed, I was well within the combat, and was also handling pulling.

In addition, I was on a lot of sugar highs today, so my responses were consistent with that. I did apologize after the party disbanded.

What bugs me is that you chose to still feel offended even though I made it clear I wasn't trying to rag on you, or upset you. Then again, people who don't have thick skin often don't do well around me.

Also, imply that I am an emo artist again, and I will not take it very kindly. Good night!

Ishon's actually not that terrible... Well ok, he is, but if you handle him properly, he won't bite. ;D He's kind of like a rattlesnake, I suppose. I might just be able to tolerate him because of the fact that I'm an ass too. Anyway... Yeah! He doesn't need to be avoided, just seen with a 'Handle With Care" sign. DAT mods anyone?
 
I got a tell from Ishon late last night and he told me he'd been flamed. I think it may have been a misunderstanding on his part (he didn't see what Airou said), but he also majorly overreacted. Deaths happen and it's not the Galka's fault that the party leader didn't see fit to kick/replace him as he was gone for a half hour.

I was in this party yesterday. Maybe it's because I wasn't in Airou's position and I also didn't notice most of the ranting because I barely watch party chat during battle or it may be that I'm used to immaturity due to what I deal with IRL, but I kinda brushed it off. I did ask him was he male or female and what age (24 yo male) which is when he told us about his creativity and such. I filed him away as very "high strung." He did start to freak out a bit when we got links and the whole refresh bit was over the top, I'll admit.

He explained to me that he's new to Quetz (was on Caitsith) and came here because he is friends with Devifoxx. He also said he was already in a bad mood because he was having issues with starting a mission. Personally, if a game frustrates me to that extent, I will turn it off, but obviously he decided against that. I think I may have felt better about the whole situation if he was a teenager because then I'd think he may grow out of it.

Maybe after this whole flame he will try to curb that attitude. I'd at least say people should give him a chance so they can form their own opinions about him. We all have bad days!

Ishon's a friend of mine who came back to FFXI and server-transferred from Caitsith to hang out with me. Reactivated his account after a few years.

He can be pretty cool when he's mellow... But...

I told him he needs some anger management classes to keep his Adam Sandler in "Happy Gilmore" style rage in check.

Even though he went pretty rage-tastic yesterday, he's calmed down now. I'm glad to hear he atleast tried to say he was sorry.

He's just full of alot of hot air. You learn to tune it out after a while.

lol... This is kind of funny. One friend of mine has been trying so hard to start a new internet meme... And the other friend who hates memes starts a new one entirely by accident ("I'm an artist.")

Anywho. Just trying to shed some light on the situation.

I agree that there was no excuse for it.

But... This flame is kinda funny... Even I was laughing at it a little. Does that make me a bad person? D:

Honestly, I've seen much much worse in party situations. The whole "I'm an artist" thing makes me laugh, and I don't know if I'll be buying that graphic novel, but we all have to understand that the people we party with are people too with their own problems. If someone is incredibly happy, you are going to notice that they are giddy or talk a lot. If someone is tired or bored, well, you'll start to see random afks or, so help us Noodles, wipes. And if someone is pissed off, they will come off as being irate.

Of course being pissed in real life doesn't justify being temperamental in a game, but it isn't exactly fair to automatically categorize someone as an asshat (not to say, Airou, that you were; there were just a few posts that seemed to imply that he is an auto-ass for this). I don't know, I already have my /blist and my dicklist content with the whopping seven people, so maybe my standards of asshattery are different from others.
