Well, I've finally decided to quit ffxi. It's not that I can't find time for it anymore, but just got burnt out. Been playin for somethin like five and half years now or so, didn't really keep track. And I don't regret playing at all, met a lot of cool people, and had a good time. I always said that I wouldn't quit till I had a ridill and adaberk, but I guess that didn't happen, still killed almost everything in game, so I'm happy enough with that!
Best thing about this game is the people you play with, hands down. I never would of played as long as I did without them. I didn't get along with some, and was competitive with others, but whats a game without some good ol competition!
I guess I'll mention some people:
Drychtnath - A very funny man, had some of my best times in game with yah. While most everyone else thought I was being serious you always caught the joke, and then added on! But I'm sure I'll keep in touch with you, living 20 min away and all.
Darktemplar - Was always one of my best buddies in game, would pretty much drop whatever he was doing to help me out. Also a very skilled player, was one of the few that could keep up in a parse.
Morwen - A little crazy, but that's what I love about yah! We had a lot of good times in game, always had fun in ballista with you. And I also enjoyed watchin you argue with people! And of course the second sexiest pld, me being first of course =P
Ashkill - If I ever needed to bitch about somethin I would always talk to ash. Cause he'd always be right there with me. lol, but really I had a good time with yah man. And also a very skilled player!
Darkruler - You were always a good friend, and I could always count on you to help me out if I needed it. You definitely came a long way as well, you would always tell me you wish you had some of the things I did. But then ended up getting a lot of the same gear much faster then I was able to. I'll miss yah buddy.
Ggordita - We didn't know each other for too long, but you were always a very sweet girl. I had a lot of fun just leveling up random jobs with you and getting away from the end game scene.
Nicholette - If I ever wanted a person to just talk stats, job strats, strange things like blu tanking. I would always come to you. You're a vet yourself and it was always nice havin someone that understood what I was talkin about lol.
TillTheEnd, ReUnited, Dezvoltare - The three shells I spent most my game career in, all had great people, and I'll miss you all!
I realize I missed a good amount of people, but I had a great time with you all and hope you guys continue to enjoy the game.
