Filler is when the anime stops following the main story and just goes off into pointless episodes/arcs. (Not the best definition but hopefully you get the idea.) That said, Episode 101 is the best episode of Naruto ever. I don't care if it's filler or not.

How far along is the manga now? I used to be really good about following it but I haven't read a new one in atleast a year. Last thing I remember is Sakura and the old sand village lady beating up the puppet kid from Akatsuki (shit, is that even the right name?). Anyone feel like catching me up or atleast saying if it's worth catching up?
 
They're about 2 story arcs further than when you stopped and yeah, it's worth reading.

for all of your viewing needs, there's a guy on youtube that uploads every episode about an hour after they're released, raw and subbed.

his username is like.. kyle172k or something. i'm subscribed to him
 
I just wait for the stuff to pop up on Narutofan.com, that tends to go up fast there. I thought the final arc was pretty decent actually, though they kinda made somethings stupid like.. oh.. Naruto and Lee being useless against the guy who was first in the armor and then he dies so quickly by a spear from Gaara.. god.. think he coulda dodged it... and the way the final guy got hit by a spear similar to the first guy.. kinda anti-climatic X.x

Atleast it wasn't NARUTO SAVES THE DAY WITH RASENGAN AND POINTLESS CLONES like the rest of the filler. Really, the arc was very promising, but the episode before this one just kind of wrecking balled it from being awesome and it went downhill from there.
 
ii haven't watched naruto since the Curry of Life arc... I'm glad i'm not missing anything, lol.. bleach 4tw... ONE FILLER...
 
The thing is, Bleach'll be back to filler before long before Naruto will, if it even does. Bleach was picked up for an anime production entirely too soon.
 
They'll just have another big bountou style filler sometime.

I personally prefer fillers over the DBZ ways of doing things.
