Jail time for harmless prank

football is very educational, teach kids to join NFL and make good bucks

sounds like she's got a stick up her ass and something to prove

people need to lighten the fuck up. I think the kids parents might have a case for malicious persecution. My HS was like this too, they didn't give a shit what the students, parents or faculty thought.

I like the reporter at the end lol. Thats whack though. People streaked at our homecoming games ever year and I know none of them went to jail, and these kids even had on costumes. Lighten the fuck up indeed.

Wow, really? Someone has a very large stick stuck up their ass.

lol, this guy at the HS i graduated from did this during their Homecoming game, except he was wearing a loincloth. He had really...really long red hair that was crimped up in this kinda Yahoo-Serious-way. It was hilarious.

He went on to spearhead the cause to get Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Free Bird" to be our class song, which was wildly successful in a time when "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" by Green Day and "Graduation '00" by Vitamin C were the orders of the day.

Football is so educational...

Some people need to be slapped.

Yeah, it teaches 99% of players how to be a loser and makes you try to find a way to travel through time to go back to 1981. It teaches the other <1% how to get drafted and make lots of money.

Case in point:

I think the reason they're a pain in the ass about is because the district is one of those upper class districts I know for a fact Marcus High School of flower mound is loaded out the wazoo, so they're just a bunch of stiffs.

Football is good education imo. Teaches leadership and commitment. A lot of it had to do with the coach also. I know at my school they were very cool guys. Never drank because they were tested often. Had team dinners. All had a 3.0+ All got academic scholarships.

Our class song was Life is a Highway - Tom Cochrane NOT Rascal Flatts although Another Brick in the Wall - Pink Floyd lost by just a few votes we think the administration fudged the numbers. They had a particular hate for that song...

At the talent show one act played it even though they were asked not to. They were supposed to play Lithium - Nirvana, they proceeded to play the 1st 5 seconds of Rape Me (see 1992 MTV MVAs) then went into Another Brick in the Wall. The Dean tried to shoo them off the stage but after about half the auditorium either started throwing shit or threatened violence he wisely decided to back off.

I know what these kind of school administrators are like complete assholes who will give you detention for ANYTHING but will back down rapidly when challenged.

1) I actually like the Rascal Flatts version of "Life is a Highway", although nobody can ever *beat* Tom Cochrane's version.
2) I can see where "Another Brick In The Wall, Part II" would have been upsetting for some school administrators. Even I wouldn't really want that for a class song, despite its content being absolutely true for what school is all about now (preparation for work, not education).

Part II is a protest song against rigid schooling in general and boarding schools in particular, which has led to the song being banned in several countries. It is best known for the line "We don't need no education".

If you ever saw the requirements for Pennsylvania's Grad Project and the bullshit things you would get detention for there you would understand.

I got an exemption from grad project due to the fact I had 3 High Schools with 3 different requirements for it. The only good thing Governor Rendell ever did was sign my exemption IMO >_>

How does following the coaches orders teach you leadership? What's that you say, the QB is the leader? Ok then, it teaches leadership to 1 guy.

A lot of it had to do with the coach also. I know at my school they were very cool guys.

Ok. The football team at your school being made up of cool guys doesn't mean football teaches you anything.

Never drank because they were tested often.

You can't really test for alcohol. It's out of your system in a 24-48 hours. Those tests can find marijuana, steroids, and not much else.

Had team dinners.

Yay! My tax money going to feed a bunch of jocks that could easily pay for their own food.

...... Yay!

All had a 3.0+ All got academic scholarships.

If I wanted to be nice, I would say "that seems unlikely."

Instead, I'm going to say:

Bullshit. Only if they got handed a grade by a teacher. No way the entire football team had better than 3.0 unless they doubled as the chess club. Even then, there was a lazy ass genius in the chess club when I was there he barely passed anything.

Hell even *my* high school fudged the marks of the football players a little, and we're not even close to the same level that you guys are in the USA.
Mine was a football high school, meaning that we had a good team. The school won city's twice out of three years I was there, but I'll be damned if they didn't get even little advantage (ie, getting more time on assignments, getting easier marks, alternative projects).

Shit, this stuff happens all the time in high school. I've still got my own slew of video tapes of pranks pulled back in my day, some of which include streaking football games. 2 differences I guess...1. We didn't get caught, and 2. This bitch has a stick up her ass.

Also, bananna and gorilla suits, while humorous, don't make for speedy getaways. Naked ftw.

Just what kids need, a real reason to shoot up a school. If crazy ass kids go postal about being made fun of; what are they going to do about shower rape and salad tossing.

Flower Mound, TX. Most everyone "important" has a stick up their ass or somethin' they feel they need to prove. In order to live in Flower Mound it's very important you "keep up with the Jones'" and all of that stuff. Flower Mound is one of the few places here in TX that when I visit I feel like a trespasser and I'm pretty well off myself. It's like a totally different world in that town. It's a town that wants independence from the surroundin' towns but doesn't have the resources to be independent. That town is pretty much a warzone in a "desk war".

The schools there are under the hand of Lewisville I.S.D., as you saw in the video, and Lewisville doesn't mess around. It's probably as close to Nazi Germany as any place has ever been since then. Schoolboards hold the power in towns out here and in towns like Lewisville, where you have a stiff board, that's big problems for those of us who like to enjoy life.
