Dude, that had nothing to do with me. Don't make it personal. Its a general argument that a lot of us have strong opinions about. I hate the bugger and he the same me, but shit, that's a stupid argument.
 
meanwhile what prompted my response politically to this thread only really had to do with vang. Moreover it had to do with people who like to insult and call names without providing any kind of substantial reason why. Rones made an example of me, i made an example of 90% of firestreak's posts. But i suppose making a valid argument and backing it up with a fact as opposed to being vague is something i shouldn't do ... can't make you people happy at all

The point is you throw in random off topic political opinions into a flame post that has nothing to do about the subject, then when called out on being a dumb son of a bitch for your simple-minded and foolish views you decide to argue back.

you might want to read before you post, this derailement started between page 1 and 2 of this topic, i joined in later.
 
snappy comeback, still doesn't change the fact this started with zurii on page 1 and i didn't enter the fray until page 5 with a three part post. Ingredients: 2 parts fact 1 part opinion, thank you drive through.

Example 1- You go out of your way just to egg Vang into flaming you.
Example 2- Mainly provoking Meeze, but also many others into attacking you. End result, thread reaches 10 pages of many people attacking you.
Example 3- You don't have a real point, just trying to stir up garbage with Meeze.
Example 4- You even say it yourself "i figured i'd start shit". Became a 14 page monster. Cubswoo summed the thread up best with "I think we're all a little bit dumber from having to read this thread."
Example 5- You (Mokk) put it so eloquently I'll let your words do the rest: "i do so enjoy it when a right-wing brainwashed North American fundamentalist sticks his foot so far in his mouth he can taste his own jock-rot" That is an excellent way to encourage rational discussion and is not trying to provoke flaiming in any way. :roll:

This thread could count as number 6 with you making unsupported claims and remarks against Bush just in hopes of stirring up people into attacking you. There are more in the past, but I really don't feel like taking the time to dig up the rest. I doubt I am the only one who has noticed this, but w/e. I was just trying to point out why people were not paying attention to your points/prods. Maybe you aren't a target as much as a Picador.

Vang posted one side comment on page 2. The thread however continued mostly on topic (brds) until page 5 where you threw out your big political piece and sparked a lot of off topic political discussion.

yes, digging up all my posts where i lost my temper is all well and good and does make a valid point. I've recently been trying to rid myself of that vehement nature and think i've been doing pretty well for the most part since that last round of vang/meeze nonsense.

As far as my making bashes on bush or making unfounded claims i did no such thing, i made an inference based on FACTUAL information then provided local examples of things that have me annoyed with the state of our government. Aside from all that, my comment about skipping over the meat of a post was directed at firestreak's response, way to make this a personal crusade on me. :D

That's a chronilogical order of posts off topic until page 5 where i entered the fray with the seperation between derailing political threads being less than 5 posts. Can we start getting pissy with all of them too or should those vague unfounded claims go unmentioned?

In all fairness i shouldn't include krono cos he was just bitching that firestreak brought up the post from the past and then got all snotty about it.

I think every thread in the flameboard should be limited to 3 pages of content and followed by at least 5 pages of political debate. This is great
 
unfortunately this was very little about politics, zuri. Per usual i posted a response that's roughly the same garbage 90% of the board posts in the same fashion and people took another 3 pages to talk about their feelings on it. :roll:

But i'm the emotional one ... really.
