um.. Just to follow up on Rari or whoever. I quit the game in about november of 08..ish. SMN was my first 75 in 2003 or 4 I forget. So, yes I did play the job and I quite enjoyed it, back before people took SMNs into parties.
Anyways, regardless, as a SMN, yes I went through times were my BP missed as who hasn't. The point is, it's not supposed to come off as easy.
SMN already has plenty of advantages, however missing a BP is not a disadvantage. And when I meant paying attention I didn't specify so I'll take fault for that. By paying attention I mean, after 'assualting' paying attention for the prefered time.
I can't assume everyone can do it for a jailer, because sometimes it gets difficult for those with a ton of lag. But there are situations where timing comes along.
SMN is a job of timing, so if you can't hit your apropriate target then play another job that doesn't have to try so hard.
