I happen to know Tulkus IRL very well, and the Kote that he was shouting to sell, wasn't even his, it was another IRL friends, so in a way, im glad it happened. Now, Tulkus is SOL. Wonder what he is gonna say to the person that let him use it... :shock:

I have dealt with with this jerk Joshiah myself...though not to the extent of an O.Kote. The only thing he stole from me was 1k for a Tele-Mea. I know my plight pales in comparassion and such but stealing is stealing in my book. I did my very best to warn people of him whenever I saw him in Jeuno or anywhere rather. I am sorry for Tulkus's loss...on a complete side note I once had to take Tulkus off of my blist in order to party with him...but then again I didn't remember why I put him on there in the first place so I guess it wasn't a big deal. He was probably shouting in Jeuno for something and I was having a bad day or something...that's how 90% of all people end up on my blist...then when I cool off I take them off >.>;

Well I PT'ed with Joshiah a little after this Incidient. He was in the PT as a WHM "I forgot what lv" killing beetles @ Crawlers' Nest. Then out of the blue Wolfskymoon comes up with the foulest language ever doing shouts and such. So me not knowing bout QCDN at all before 2 days ago. I didnt know WTF was going on. So I ask Wolfskymoon since he involved everyone who saw that shout into this controversy. He was very Incooperative and didnt want to answer any of my Questions. Then Joshiah tells our fellow BLM what he did. and was bragging about how Easy it is to steal. So the BLM does a little searching and gets back to me the next day. He tells me what happened.

In my opinion Joshiah did what anyone would have done. I mean C'mon if you have a 1.4 Mill item there just there for the grabbing literally. Would you do it? I dont think it would cross any hard working Char's mind. I know peeps try and take others down by calling them a THF. but they dont do Roleplaying much then. Since if they were in his shoes I bet they would have a 96% Chance of doing the same thing. "Unless friends with him"

you just supported someone who stole money from another in a dishonest way. Would I do it? no i have things called morals and respect for other peoples property. Im glad you posted, now just another person to avoid. Your statistical evidence has no backing, although some may, i would have to agree the vast majority of members would not commit that low of an act.

thats like con'ing senior citizens into giving away their life savings simply because they didnt know, and that just makes it alright and justified. Simply put he preyed on another person and blatantly took advantage of that, yet you dont see that as wrong.. i dont know how much more obvious it can get.

Generalizations and sterotypes are there because some part of society does participate in those actions yes. That does not mean it is ok, that does not mean well because he/she did it i can too.

You misunderstand my use of conviction i mean in the real world, not related to ffxi.
