Was it really necessary to post that? It wasn't a real necro, but there's no point in curing an almost dead thread like that. Especially with such moronic content.

Thamu is the sexiest Jp Drk I've ever met.

so to recap does anyone know exactly how do this glich.

Imagine the telepad as a clock.

Get Faust to around 12 outside the pad while
you are up on the tele at around 3-4, and
when he starts to move to 11 you go to 2,
thus making him turn to take the shortest way
to get to you - when he goes to 1 you go
to 5...
Something like that, bind and grav would most
likely be a key to make this work solo.

I was there watching with the OP and that isn't quite how it happened.

More like, stand at 12 and when faust gets to 10 you move to 1. Then when faust moves to 5-6 you move back to 12 and repeat.

Yeah sounds a lil better my bad ^^b

Before: Omg, it's an exploit! What a cheat!
Now: How do I do it.

...

Pathing is always going to be the way it is. If you can manipulate it, good for you. Any mage worth his salt knows that mobs do not move in as direct line as possible at all times. If there's a rock, you go around it. Same for the mob. The thing with the mob though is that they're stupid creatures. They will get stuck. It's not a cheat. It's knowing a mob's stupidity (non-affordable AI) and using it against it.

As a programmer (job) if you have complaints about this, I'd like to see any of you step up and come up with a fool-proof way to fix it. Because this is getting so bland.

"SE should fix it" only goes so far when it's not profitably possible. They're not trying to build the ultimate gaming experience. They're trying to turn a profit. They could quite literally not give a shit that it bothers you.

beside didnt someone already report this and the gm comended the one that thought this up.
