While I'd say a DRK/DRG MIGHT be able to get numbers like that (thought I severely doubt), I'd guess that one's an edited picture...I've never seen a Lost Soul with more than 1200hp.


And it's less likely that a DRG/DRK did that, since Souleater is nerfed when subbed.

Yeah you're right about DRG/DRK not being able to hit those numbers because SE only 5% subbed, he did that as DRK/DRG with Souleater Kraken club. Something I want to try^^
 
It might be possible with a Bourdonasse equipped which does Blunt damage on Bones. Hard to believe that though since my highest jump was only like 700

Y'sure? I do Escort (San d'Oria) tons and few of them survive a ~1100 Hexa, and ones in Xarcabard are barely stronger. Where are there Lost Souls that'd survive a 1700-damage hit?
 
The Aegis can knock 500 shield bash... im sure theres a pic of it somewhere

That pic is real. If you go to the GameFAQs/BG ffxi forums you'd know Ryko has gear that most people only dream about and has almost every melee job levelled to 75. He probably had his Ridill on for that but I don't remember. I do remember when he made the topic about it, heh.

If Shield Bash is blunt, then maybe an Adamanshell (ultra-weak to blunt) would take 500 damage from a Souleater Shield Bash? I dunno. o.o

Ok... so i was off by like... 280, but still, my point stands ^^

Agreed. Although im only 53 i've never noticed it do more dmg on certain mobs. I think it's just a set dmg tbh. Although I have heard of 200-250 Aegis shield bashes on Apideschelone (sp?).

Shield also have 10% chance to do 3x damage, putting it at above 500 damage
 
Sheild skill should effect damage and stun as a lv 75 pld doing shield bash on a lizard in dunes will do almost same damage as a weapon etc, but if they had it like weapon skill lv it has a hidden attack number be good then you could have a better chance of stuning higher your shield skill gets

For all you know the mob could have 200 HP.... well I lost my SS's but I am gonna be out soloing today so I may get new but this happened more than once...
Windaria hits the Goblin Whatever for 80 points of damage.
Windaria defeates the Goblin Whatever.
The Goblin Whate hits Windaria for 7 points of damage.

Simple game lag.. like getting drops before you kill it etc
 
Can't you get even higher damage as DRG/MNK, full boost on Jump? Or is it MNK/DRG, I forget.

Maybe there was another lost soul attacking him? Maybe it put these two things out of order like it does sometimes in log?
