PS3 Just got a Playstation 3. What to get?

None were 5 hours like Heavenly Blade though. Shortest game this gen. Also isn't it still kind of expensive?

"Shortest game this gen" goes easily to one of the many shooters or licensed (IE: Wanted or Jumper) games out there. The reason nobody mentions the shooters is because they have online to save their asses. As stand alone games, the modern warfare games, halo games, and the like are all like 6 hour campaigns *at most*. Hell a powerhouse game like Fallout *could* be beaten in 30ish minutes, the only difference is Heavenly Sword had no sidestory or even any challenge maps like GoW does.

I still say Mirror's Edge had to be one of the shortest games this gen. I've played through it 4 times. It only takes about a max of 4 hours to beat.

You just described about half the exclusives for both consoles in their first year of production lol.

Unfortunately I described most all games on both consoles period :/ However, it wasn't the length of Heavenly Sword that bothered me and made me warn against purchase. Hell, most all games like that are short. The reason it doesn't need to be bought is because it has nothing more than that short story to do.

Way of the Samurai 3 is a pretty darn good game. The game series as a whole is really good, but unfortunately not many people know about the games. It's very open ended, has over 20 different endings, has light RPG Elements mixed in with fast paced sword fights, and is about Samurai (Doesn't get any cooler than that ;p).

I'd look into getting the PS3 version of the game, mainly because the DLC content is free, and actually works.
