I'm confused. Is the video in question based upon the video itself or how many albums sold in conjunction? Based upon the video alone...





I reviewed these in mute. Although it's kind of hot seeing Beyonce dancing around half naked, I would have to say that Taylor's was better, seeing as the video "told a story".
 
While I agree her video's better, I have to say that Taylor's one is kind of... usual. Its the basic movie plotline that both romantic movies and music videos follow.

They don't like awarding it to the same person. Video of the year is pretty much above female video of the year so Beyonce ended up getting the better award anyway and Kanye came across as even more of a dipshit.

Beyonce's video was funnier when spooofed on SNL though.

Security should have knocked his ass out considering:

1) He wasn't supposed to be on stage then (doesn't matter who the fuck you think you are).
2) Given his past with similar incidents, did they honestly think it would be a good idea?

Even halfway decent security would have jumped up on stage and escorted him off before there was any further incident. That was allowed to happen. I'd like to see him throw a tantrum after not even being given the time of day or an opportunity with a microphone. That guy's just another icon representing the legions of talentless hacks (and their fans) today. Complete bullshit. Complete waste. Complete hype. Nothing more.

Video of the year was 'Single Ladies' by Beyonce. And man, Lady Gaga is a weird, unique bitch. Unique in a good way, I suppose. She loves to draw attention to herself.

Yeh I was just saying, if anything. Paparazzi should of been video of the year. There really isn't that many special music videos anyway.

I still can't get over this one either really. How many hissy fits has the guy had? He's known for saying whatever the hell he feels like at whim. I don't think he would have done that to anyone but Taylor and if he did, he would have had the mic snatched back from him immediately.

I think MTV keeps inviting him back because it's good TV. It wouldn't be the VMAs without any type of controversy. Just like the Eminem/Bruno stunt (which was staged of course.) Everyone feeds into MTV's corporate bullshit, apparently.
 
The Katrina video is still priceless, though.
