I'm sorry, who are you again? Don't recall that your opinion means much. Go ahead. Say the word, kiddos. Put the fanboy signal up and call all the regulars. I got time.

Go ahead. Or are you content to take chickenshots at me without really making any points? I'm waiting.

I was unaware I needed to make points against your pretty knowledgeable and chronically repeateable history. :?

Put simply:

- Peregrine says people shouldn't discriminate based on job

- Chemical_Penguin brings up the topic where Peregrine argued for 5+ pages that a RDM should not be able to use Excalibur because they aren't enough like King Arthur.

- Peregrine ignores this point and tells everyone to raise the fanboy signal for reasons unknown.

That's all. I dunno if I'm posting in this thread again, but you realize you post yourself into these situations, right?

Geee ya think? This really is difficult to talk to people who think they're two steps ahead when they're really way behind. It's like the dumbass in the last thread who thought I didn't know from the start that Mandaus poisoned. Catch up, pokes. We're not even on the same levels yet.

Don't you find it ironic that it was a red mage who was among the first to get excalibur? No, it wasn't a paladin with an intense care for their identity. Wasn't someone who would probably never unequip it once they put it on. No, it wasn't a knight. It was a mage. A mage who wanted nothing more than a soloing weapon. He'll never use it on Gods. Never make a significant dent for xp with it. It's a red mage. Oh but hey, he deserved it. A bored red mage with nothing left to buy deserved it, probably due to a game career full of pandering. Not the paladin who it would serve. The red mage who got served. Not the one who would live and breathe it. The one who figured they would get it. And why wasn't it our lovely dark knight in that picture getting their weapon? Could it be that people don't get paid based on how they work in the game? That they either get paid based on what they play or what they abuse if they can't get payed via job? Hmmm I wonder what these two topics have in common...

Some bored red mage gets a sword for soloing before paladins who live and breathe that sword do. Is it because the paladins are lazy, or the red worked for it? Or is it because paladins are a dime a dozen, and red mages are privileged? That's like giving the whm assault jerkin before the dragoon. That's like...gee let me guess: the person who said the party didn't need a dark knight anyway...was that an "in" job too?

I don't associate with pandered snots in the game who would comment about sending a dark knight back to jeuno with no problem because you didn't need them anyway. You losers constantly harp about equality when you're probably the ones who deep down only see jobs when you log on. When I say friend you think "blm" and not someone's specific name. Do you have a dragoon friend at all, or do you just kiss the red mage's ass when they get Excalibur too?

Let me guess the responses
A. ur jealous ur not useful
B. ur poor lol
C. ur gimp lol

Cowards. Kissing the red mage's ass while sending the dark knight away because they're of no use to you, while trying to pick fights with someone who just LOVES to see hypocrites get their panties in a wad because while they're all about the equality on a message board...they like how good discrimination has done them in the game. They LOVE being able to wave away other bars of inequality to use the one that serves them the most.

I fail to see how this topic has anything to do with dark knights or "prejudice" of any sort. One completely unrelated person made a crack at dark knights. This person may or may not have been serious (Hell. It could have even been because of party layout for all we know), and who knows if this person even reads this message board.

I'd like to know what this topic has to do with Dark Knights. Last I checked, it was about not letting an asshole get a party, with props to the flameboard for the pre-emptive strike.

Again. The topic is not about "Some guy said DRKs suck lolol".

Nobody here said that on this message board. You're yelling at someone who probably doesn't exist.

If I need someone to dispel/refresh, I'm not calling a dark knight, I'm calling a rdm. That's not any form of favortism, that's game mechanics. You also don't know their party setup, so you don't know what they did and did not need.

I'm still waiting for you to prove some hypocracy in ANYONE but yourself, since you love to toss that word around without ever bothering to prove it. You say that a rdm doesn't deserve a weapon as much as a pld, solely based on his job but then call someone out for making a joke about not needing a drk, that's hypocracy right there. I also find it really hypocritic that you're commenting on someone saying something about a job when you have said that you don't like pld tanks, because you feel nin's are the best.

And for the record, I have friends in all jobs. When I rag on my drg friends for being drgs, they understand that it's a joke, which is what this was too.

Pere, im not much like King Arthur :( not even in game either, im a mnk - should i delete my char and make a new one?

The Excalibur case isn't about jobism no matter how you want to spin it. If you have enough gil to upgrade a Relic, you deserve said Relic. A rich DRG will get Gungnir. A rich SMN, Claustrum. If I scrimped and farmed and crafted and saved my way to the 500+ million gil necessary to upgrade to a Claustrum, who would you be to tell me that since BLMs have a higher natural INT and Claustrum is a part of the brain, they'd deserve the first fully upgraded one before me?

Uh.. Peregrine? You know, his word is law, his intelligence is most, his life status is best, his gear is gimpest.

You can't sit there and tell me what the Excalibur thread was and wasn't about. I MADE that topic. lol seriously...you can't spin what I wove. Actually if you must know, it really WAS about preferential job treatment. You just didn't impress me enough to get down to the skeleton of it. As far as any job being able to get their relic...then where's THAT screenshot, o champion of equality? They COULD? Says who now? Get real. They don't get the opportunity. You show me a dragoon with the weight to upgrade a relic to final and I will stand up and ovate them. But a red mage with nothing better to do than drop 200 million gil or their entire shell's sweat and blood into a soloing weapon just for looks? No. I'm thinking spoiled silver-spoon, not omg nice. The dragoon isn't in the picture because he started when the rdm did and is level 56 with his flag up farming. The dark knight isn't in the picture because you ****ing sent him back to Jeuno when the ranger logged on.

If if if if if if if if if...that's all you all can think about. How about I call it like it is, not how it could be. The person in the picture isn't a dragoon. Could it have been a dragoon? Please. Not nearly as easily as it could have been other jobs. Red mage at 75...meh. Dragoon at 75...nice. Black mage with 150 million gil...lol. Samurai with that? Seriously, nice. I know social theory. How hard you work is probably only as important as who you are if that, and that sad fact carries over into the game in a most horrible way. And you all let it. It could have been a dragoon? Yeah, and a janitor can earn a PhD. Point me out one though, smart guy. Stop reading books about what could happen and take a look at what DOES happen. Again, your dragoon that could upgrade a relic if he wanted is stuck midlevel because no one invites him, no one includes him, and everyone mocks him.

Now before you take my leave as a sign that some new kiddo has posted something I can't answer, I'm going to bed, then I'm going to lab. If you get any bright ideas, by all means. I'm your huckleberry.

I take back anything I said about your high intelligence, even if it was sarcastic. Calling you smart, even as a joke, is a fucking insult to anyone or anything alive.

You did not make that thread. You dumb fuck. You simply just corrupted it with your egotistical, holier-than-thou, "holy shit an accomplisment I didn't do means nothing" attitude.

Someone ban this shit.

So why was the first fully-upgraded relic a Scythe?

Thought it was the Bow.

Regardless, that wasn't the first relic complete.

Was it Bow? Scythe was the first I saw. Long before an Excalibur.
