Same universe, probably different point in time, way before Sora and co exist.
 
Why did you people actually like Roxas? XD you're all insane. The most boring part of the entire game was Roxas. lol
 
I can say in favor of Roxxas that he looks more manly that Sora and if you spell his name backwards it reads Saxxor and you know what that sounds like. ;D
 
1) it's roxas :P so only 1 x
2) it's just Sora + x as all Organization XIII are real name + x. (Asnme + x = Xenmas etc)

He was still the most boring part of all of Kingdom Hearts.. even Atlantis was more amusing than Roxas' snore part

Sora was so much better. I felt I grew up with him ^^ ...derp.

I don't think it has anything to do with Roxas, but the game DID pick up after Sora was restored. I don't think the personality of main characters of video games really matters in the first place, but those little kids he was always hanging around were annoying and that entire section was nothing but mostly needless buildup. In fact the entire game would have been fine without that subplot with Sora and Kairi having nobody's.

I thought that Roxas was a very key plot point, not only for this game but for future games as well.

Consider how ‘racist’ Sora is to the nobodies. Even after his tender moment with Axyl, Sora still slaughters any Nobody he finds. While their methods weren’t exactly innocent, the organization was only concerned with getting their hearts back. Roxas got his heart back. He got to be his old self. Though he was the only Nobody that actually fought it (see: Sora vs Roxas scene).

Sora, basically, had two conflicting emotions. I would’ve liked to see a lot more Sora/Roxas interaction, but we have to deal with what was given to us. It’ll be interesting to see how these two ‘personalities’ exist within the same person.

I think in the next game that features Sora as a main character will also feature Roxas as a key plot point, or as a kind of limit/drive move. Wouldn’t it be cool for Sora & Roxas to split and start cracking skulls with 4 key blades?
