yep it is sora's story as i said before. Theres no way it would be an entire prequel.
Me theory is
Its the story of a battle that started long ago and through the travel of time is a battle that will end in the future, in sora's time with sora and the original three keyblade masters.

grrrrr i got sephiroth down to 1 hit left but i didnt know he had 2nd chance or whatever and i had to finish him with a finishing move...at that point i just used cure to go berserk and chain him...i was sad..and now i still cant beat him.. im lvl 99..what was your set up? mine seems to not work. every other time i tried i get close to the end or not even close.. i wish i could use forms on him ; ;
 
I put him in my party and he didn't give me anything new to do :\ and he's rather high in level with me XD

Equip Auto-Limit, or just go to the Limit menu. :P

As for Sephiroth, I was level 69. Had all Summon and Limit abilities turned off so I could put AP more towards abilities like Defender. All of my item slots were Elixers, and I put them to one of the shortcut buttons for quick access. I did have the Berserk ability equipped as well, but I didn't use it much because I used an elixer quickly after Sin Harvest, so I could do the trigger command to block his next attack, and get a combo in on him.

I also suggest having your Forms leveled. The "Growth" abilities they give you are really good for this. Just keep at it, learn his whole pattern, and kick his ass.

You have Sora, one keyblade master.

Then that guy whos letters can be arranged to spell SoraX....keyblade master #1 from the past?

Then the guy whos letters make up AnsemX....keyblade master #2 from the past?

A fight across time?

[If these guys die in KH2, then my theory is gone. lol.]
 
no no no, Swish.. I mean I go to the limit menu and all I see are donald's two limits and trinity :|

Odd. Sure his limit with Sora is equipped as well? I found that sometimes the extra character's abilities were unequipped when I came back.
 
Man, i just beat KH2 (a week later then i thought i would). And i only got 83% of Jiminy's journal. im just glad i played on the hardest mode. Did anyone else just not use summons or forms, and use straight up combos and spells?

I dont wanna ruin the story for you, but the Roxas thing wont work because of what he is.

And Xemnas, well being the villain, he does get defeated, so yeah ;x

Yay just beat it... awesome game, 90% jiminy journal complete. Time for sephiroth lol.
 
I finally got the combo :p so stupid it unequipped their stuff. Anyways.. a few more materials and synth, the tournaments (just the last 2 atleast I think) and Seph and I winzor
 
I've been trying to get the Goddess of Fate Cup so I can get the last Orichalcum+ for the Ultima Weapon, I've beaten the other three cups, when does this one get unlocked.
 
Tips and tricks:

If you unlock a world, then it dissapears again, you have to beat a world again. (Each world has at least 2 episodes i think)

Reaction commands are your best friends. They can either severely damage, or stun your enemy.

When your fighting the organization member who likes to shoot at you, use the reaction command "War Snipe" to damage him. He teleports alot, so its almost impossible to melee him. Also, when he warps you to the little island and starts shooting like mad, just keep running in a tight circle around the square and you can avoid being hit.

Well i told you already. But for anyone else having trouble.

The cup is unlocked AFTER you fight Xemnas for the first time right before the final boss.
 
Im only level 49, dont have Ultima Weapon yet and am lacking in items, but I figured I would have fun trying to fight Sephiroth anyways.

1st time: Got owned 4 seconds in, not even kidding. I timed it. He used that dash n slash attack then combo'd me and killed me.

2nd time: I sucessfully blocked the dash n slash attack, then was able to pull off about five combos before getting killed again.

3rd time: Same as second, but I was able to take out 3 of his life bars this time after studying his attack pattern.

Now im searching for all the ingredients for Ultima Weapon. I have 4 Orichalcum+ and 8 Orichalcum, so I sill need at least three more Orichalcum+ BEFORE the ability to cut it in half.

Lesse, I got two in the final level, one in the Godess of Fate cup and another in the mansion.

4/13. Anyone know where the others are?
