Very fun, nostalgic game full of laughs and whimsy. I'd absolutely love to get the sound track for this game, it's soft and fun and fits the game perfectly.

Definite must-buy if you like Kirby games.

Watched the trailer, definatley an interesting twist on Kirby. I have to say my all time favorite kirby games: Kirby Super Star and Kirby's Adventure.

I was a little disappointed in the lack of "sucking" your enemies in to steal abilities. That was one of the most fun parts :D. Plus no floating. Don't get me wrong though, it still looks fun and I may even pick it up.

What do you mean no floating and inhaling enemies? That's the entire core of a Kirby game.

That's precisely what I mean ...

The one game play video I saw (it lasted about 4 minutes) didn't have him sucking in enemies or floating at all. Instead of sucking them in, he uses some kind of lasso thing. The special abilities seem to be built in. That is at least, if I haven't been mislead by the video I saw.

You transform a lot as you do different moves or enter different environments. There's a lot of the traditional enemies, but you don't suck them in to get their powers, you're using a piece of magic yarn or something to alter the world and attack.

Yeah, think I'll wait or get it on rental first. I'm a big big fan of Kirby games and the whole sucking and floating mechanic was a favorite. Regardless, I'll still play it, i <3 that pink puffball

Love Kirby games as well so I think I'll grab this soon. No sucking or floating doesn't bother me, long as it's the same concept with yarn.

You're using the yarn to interact with the world, not absorb enemy powers. There's a good amount of different uses for the yarn in the world and moving around isn't an issue with all that's available, but sadly no power stealing of any kind that I've seen. You can attack with the yarn though, and the enemies that you "beat" become projectile weapons like the ones who you didn't absorb their powers in other games, you just throw them instead of spit them.

I bought it today.
Sometimes you just need a game that's fun and relaxing to play. Oh man, I won't have enough gems to get a gold medal? It doesn't matter too much. I missed a decoration item? I can always go back and pick it up whenever I feel like.

It's definitely not a game for you if you're looking for a challenge (then again, Kirby and challenging almost never get paired anyway).

actually I can see how all the bead and treasure collecting can get hardcore(I played the first two worlds so far). To unlock the extra levels it's a must...espc. getting the bosses to cough up enough beads...

Well, yeah, obviously there's the desire to get 100% completion as with any game. But I don't feel like I need to do that, if that makes sense.
I'll eventually get around to 100%ing the game, though.

Somehow when I read this, I immediately thought of the "Heroine Hero" episode of South Park. Not the actual title, but it's context related at least. Funny stuff. Thanks for the nostalgia bomb.
