Kisada. (large ..)

Nobody claimed that ele, everyone's just saying he's an asshole for doing what he did...why's this so hard for you to get your head around?

It seems that a majority of your countrymen believe that unless an action is specifically prohibited by a contract or a law, then a person has every right to perform that action, no matter what the consequences, or who gets hurt.

Is this why the US is the most litigious country on Earth?

(and I still don't understand American's ; ; )

There's a difference between it not being illegal and not being moral. While I can technically do something that's not specified in the law, that doesn't make it right.

I never said he Kisada was legally justified in confronting Necrosis. I was just pointing out to so many that claimed Necrosis broke the agreement by using Sote's mules and BST that he wasn't actually breaking their agreement at all. Is it really that hard to grasp?
It's hard to grasp that you seem to have a very odd view on things.

If you pay a plumber to fix your sewage line while you are away at work, and by the time you check in on him you find him playing with your Playstation instead of working. Since you didn't specifically say that he may not use your Playstation, it's ok for him to do so, am I right?

Exactly. But a significant number of people here clearly believe that "Illegal" is the only definition of "Right and Wrong" that has any significance...

...which actually saddens me...

It's not a significant number. It's just Elemmire.

Yeah, illegal means doing something against specific rules, whereas morality is a much more gray area.

I would say no because that's another piece of your property that you never gave your consent for them to use. You gave them consent to work on a sewage line in your house and nothing more, right? So why would they be allowed to anything else? Where as, in this case, the character is one whole piece of property and Sote gave Necrosis his consent to use it (now that may be so Necrosis would level his NIN but that was the only stipulation on the property).

is this so hard to understand Courtney? Rules are set in stone and everyone agrees to them where as morals are subject to change from one person to the next. With your comment.. it seems you think your morals are right as well as the law. :\ I have my own morals and beliefs, true, but I can't judge or punish anyone (well I can judge them in my own mind but that is it) based on my morals only on the rules that are set.

I'll repeat what's being lost on many people. Just because a contract doesn't specificy you can't do something that would normally be illegal, it doesn't mean it's then legal to do it.

Hence when you go to a hosptial, they don't allow chinese organ thieves to come in and take your spleen just because it was never agreed they couldn't.

Exactly. Level NIN, be NIN, not "be BST", not "go and play with your friends as BST", not "use my mules" (but oh wait, they are part of the same account, thus they are the same property, and it is all good, right?).

Come on Ele, just admit to yourself that you didn't think this whole thing through before making your first post, then you continued to stick to your story till you were so deep in it that pulling out now would seem lame.

but it is all on the same piece of property, Sculli... the character. Where as your example is someone doing something with one piece of property they were given consent to fix and then going to use another piece of property that consent wasn't given for them to use :|

It's all in the house that they were paid to do repairs in, it's not like they had to goto someone elses house to play your playstation.

If so... the same applies to the lines. They're all part of the same thing. Your house. Sewer lines are part of your house, playstation/entertainment system is part of your house.

But your body is one piece of surgery too. When a dentist takes your wisdom teeth out, are then they allowed to takae your tongue out as well and make some obscure british food out of it?

Is it so hard to understand that life is more than just a set of rules and regulations. When you reduce it to such, terms like honour, loyalty, respect, morality and trust go out the window. Where I come from these concepts are at least as important as laws...

And for reference, laws are not some divine rule that was handed down from Mt Sinai... they're a set of rules usually set by polititians to prevent anarchy, and represent the general morality of the population...
(and strangely enough many of the ones that were handed down from Sinai aren't actually illegal :P )

Jesus christ ele, give it up - you're way out of the park on this one, hell you're not even playing the same game.
Admit you had no idea where you were going with your original input on this post and drop it, you're just digging the hole you have no chance to get out of deeper. You seem to be arguing just to argue, your position doesn't even belong in this post.

The playstation is NOT a part of your house.. it can easily be moved and used in another location where as sewer system of your house is for your house. You get it repaired, maybe replaced, it still is a part of the house as a whole.
