Knights of the Round Weaponskill?

LOL, how can AoE refresh for staff (blm/smn) be any good? blm/smn going to melee in dynamis? kirin? I think not. I'd say Staff is the most worthless

Only waisted Dynamis currany on a weapon, is one that is never finished.

You don't have a opo opo neckthinger I take it?

No I can't, but I can name a long list of better Relic weapons that you can use all those coins for instead of waste.

What other one would a PLD rather have?

I was reading about weaponskills and skillchains online, and I read that "Knights of the Round" is an available weaponskill to Warriors through some sort of uber quest. The site didnt give any details except "Unlock it and see". Anyone know anything about this or are they just blowing smoke up the players ass?

Didn't you, at one point, claim to be a 75 NIN on Hades...?

the additionall effect is 25% of your current HP on Excalibur from what I heard. The reason it does 856 or w/e in that screenshot is ebcause Qutrubs take double damage.

Quite honestly, I would rather have Excalibur on RDM than the dagger one. Although I would rather have the shield than excalibur as PLD. And I would rather have the horn then the dagger as BRD...

imo, the weapons (in order of usefullness)

horn > shield > Amanomurakumo > Excalibur/Kikoku

But that's just me <.<;

its pld and rdm only (dont see why ardm wants it)
the addtion effect per attack it does it a big DD its 1/4 of your HP
think of a galka pld/mnk with all hp gear *drool* lmao

Because RDMes like to melee? <.<;

Either way, it pwns for soloing. RDMes are nowhere near fast soloers, and this weapon makes up for that.

Quite honestly though, no weapon is "worth" the cost and effort required for them, its nothing but an e-peen item.

a taru rdm can not do the best with this sword
a LS is needed to get sword so you want it do its best so i say pld galka only :P

If thay would have let RDM use shield also, I'd switch to shield. I would do shield if I came to a point where I have 400 mil on hand and currancy is still 30k a single. Maybe. Not shur if I have the willpower to go for another, 1 is almost too much work to finish.

lol, excalibur in terms of job usefullness, is next to useless. Kikoku is gunna do what exactly? Make your nin DD better on....? I'd put mandau way ahead of excalibur and kikoku, and saying horn > shield > amano doesnt give horn the respect it deserves.

More like...

HORN >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>shield >>>>>>>>>>>> amano > mandau >>>>> rest of the tanks, slow DDs, and mage weapons

they should make a relic ammo lol that kick ass

You know SE only comes up with bad ideas ;-D but they get something right every blue moon like blu

Horn <=> Shield > GKT > GAXE > dagger.

A Gjallarhorn BRD is just plain awesome. So is a Aegis PLD tanking Tiamat and taking only 85-100 damage in the air.

GKT damage is just stupidly insane. So is GAXE and Dagger when SATA'd.

Excalibur is a toy. I can't believe you got Bramd to use it at all, he's extremely embarassed to even have gotten it, never uses it. ever.

Kikoku is good, it makes NIN a better DD. By a lot. Have people forgotten the 10% chance to do 3x damage that kicks in on everything, including weaponskills?

NIN's don't get the respect they deserve in terms of DD =/

From what I've read from several sources it doesn't proc during weapon skills.

Perhaps Kisada could shed some more light on this?

from what I read it do, I can't be certain though as I don't have one myself :P

So yeah, easiest way to test it out would be to have Kisada do 100 WS's, and if it doesn't kick in during those 100 times, then no. It probably doesn't XD

Even if it doesn't kick in during WS, 3x damage 10% of the time is still damn sexy.

I was in Bramd's LS at the time. I hunted Fafnir with them for a while, had some fun times. Bramd is a great guy really funny.

I can out DD and/or keep up with nearly any DD in a melee cannon. If you don't have brutal earring or ridill and arent a mnk/war (shit even then), don't even bother running a parse, it would just make you feel bad. I know what a nin can do.

Also remember that you are only doing half your swings wth that 700mil katana. So really, its like a 5% chance for 3x DMG. Is it an amazing katana that would be fun as hell to have? Hell yea. Is it really going to affect anyone else besides me and maybe get a couple %'s on the parse in a cannon? Not really.

Will be interesting to see how it could help bigger HNM fights in terms of SCing, but idk, I'd rather just have a bunch of sams and thf/sams scing all day long whenever the chance came. Relying on a nin for SC, i just dont know. Fragmentation > light > light might be sick, haven't heard much on MBing on double lights.

Will be cool to see more NA's get relics though, as well as for the server. We're at what, 6 total? (sword, katanax2, Gaxe, h2h, scythe)

Edit: Also, never heard of anyone saying 3x dmg has proc'd on WS. I have heard of many saying it doesnt.
