KS 30 Double Dragonian Dickheads!

This flame is a flame that is directed towards a KS30, im fucking 0/39 on this piece of shit ks30 and have no destroyers. We try and do a run earlier in which the first one we win cuz i use my 2 hour (not my orb), 2nd one we win w/o any two hours and beat the record by a minute (not my orb) both of these wins yielded a subduer (grats to bjbreeze and terrible) on the 3rd run (my orb) we get the fuckin mob to 9% and wipe, w/e its cool i wasnt there for the $ neways i just hope we can get some destroyers, next try we wipe @ 1%. At this point its late and my friend who was helping us has to leave which i thank him very much for his help (mugs u know you my homie). But wtf? everytime i get 30ks and set up a run either it doesnt drop, ppl ditch me, or we wipe. Mind you im 0/39 on wins. Feel free to add your own flames against this bcnm now, and any other bcnm's / ksnm/ enm's as well. Fuck you double dragonian.

Lol, I was doing double dragonian earlier today too, and we were waiting on people for a while and everything. So we /random, I had highest one, and went, used my orb. We wiped on the brd dragon when he was about 50% down.

Then decided that I should come blm, so I warp, change jobs, grab another orb, and before I come back, the whm d/ced, it was probably forced, and someone else in the group said they had to go afk for 45 mins, so then the group ldr decided to just finish it for the day.

It was pretty much a waste of time though, which is why I sometimes hate getting together for things like KSNMs.
 
Don't go with pick up parties and you won't wipe as much ^^;
 
<.< I uh.. did this on my drk. Uh.. 5/6 runs (all were wins) dropped Destroyers... >.>;;; I'd uh.. give you the ones I have, they're sleeping in my storage.... Oh wait, that's right.. they're rare/ex, sorry my bad. ^^; (Oh, and the real kicker, is that NOBODY THAT DID THE RUN WITH ME NEEDED DESTROYERS AT ALL)

However... Unlike you.. None of our wins yielded a Subduer ; ; I wanted a Subduer.. but all I got were fucking Destoyers and a Heart Snatcher.. bah, useless.

Wasn't there a thread about people wanting r/e weapons from KS? I remember someone coming here and finding a mnk in need of Destroyers when we did Copycat. That KS by the way drops them almost every time for me anyway.

Best bet is probably to let as many people as you can know you need those and hope someone will let you lot on a next KS run. I'll try to remember myself next time we go.
 
Stryder sorry I had to go last night, but it was past 1 a.m and Had to be up at 6 a.m for work. Many of those wipes happend because I was not cured after I got curse lifted. On the last dragon I was in the red for a good 5 sec. before I finaly went down. The last wipe I was asking my self how that bastard killed me. I had 1200+ hp with shadows up, next thing I know I'm eating dirt.

Think I finally got down a method to pull out a win but 0/3 so far (two fights were losses from the start b/c Watersday made our enthunder spells useless).
 
Lessee, at 75% chance of not getting Destroyers per run (four rare/ex latent crit weapons, always get exactly one, 25% of each to the best of my knowledge), to the power of 39 for 39 runs ...

Your situation (39 runs without at least 1 Destroyers drop) has approximately a 0.00134% chance of occurring if I did my math right (unless, of course, I'm wrong about the distribution of weapon probability in those BCs, but from my experiences they've tended to be fairly evenly split). I have to admit, the attention you're getting from probability (granted, it's negative attention) is quite enviable. Your continued lack of Destroyers, not so enviable, and you have my sympathy.

This is of course assuming that they don't wipe.

Well not really, if you change that percentage into a fraction, it's about a 1 in 75000 chance (rounded for simplicity). There's, what, 30 servers or so? And I wouldn't be surprised if there were 2500 high level MNKs per server (between various time zones, multiple jobs, and no-longer-active characters). So it is quite statistically possible that it can happen to *a* MNK playing FFXI.

I realize that Vil, but it's extremely unlikely, and thus, I make the claim that he is full of shit.
 
As someone mentioned above, Copycat has about 75% drop rate on destroyers. I've seen maybe 8/10 drops there. Double Draconian almost never drop them.

Bringing a mnk to copycat is just asking for your Pld to get the crap beaten out of him.
 
It charms in a specific order, and it uses 2hour at the exact same % of health each fight. I don't see why proper precautions can't be dealt with.
