I had no interest in posting in this thread until earlier today I met LadyLenne in jueno.
Now that I've heard both sides of the story, I'm only going to say this:
It's their $12.95/mo, let them play the way they want to play.
Even if you give them advice and they don't take it, don't push it any further.
Be the mature one out of the argument and move on.

Question is, can you honestly say YOU would be that forgiving if they are hurting your exp gain per hour? I for one wouldn't be as nice if I've already told them once to shape up. Yes, its your $12.95, but this is a social game, and if your idiotic actions are undermining someone else's game time, then that excuse is no longer valid. If you wanna play it that way, then solo your way to 75, and dont go about fucking up other people's exp.

Yeah, but when you're this bad things are different. You should be willing to learn things you obviously don't know. I mean I don't know shit about rdm, and if someone offered advice I'd damn well take it. You shouldn't want to be bad, period.

But Confused only met LadyLenne once, in a jungle party no doubt.
LadyLenne told me she had a main acc on Cait Sith before she came to Quetzalcoatl and she had most mage jobs at 75.
I don't blame her at all for nuking the shit out of mandragoras since the other rdm in her party was afk 75% of the time.
I understand first impressions are the most important but, I don't think it's a good enough reason to post a flame thread about her just from one encounter in a jungle party no-less.
I mean, that's just my 2-cents.

The flame is about a single encounter, in a party in the freaking jungles, where as I said before it's; push button, kill mob, recieve exp.
If anyone go at me like that when I borought a PL to the party, I'd probably... no, most likely react exactly the same.
I know how to fucking play the job, but this is a noob party, in the jungles, with a fucking PL, leave me the fuck alone you gimp piece of shit.

Especially if said person starts a stalking spree on my ass.

I don't know if anyone pointed this out already and if they did I'm Sorry. Its not just there $12.95mo its everyone around them, All though your paying for your account your slowing, messing up, wasting other peoples money as well.

People really need to stop jumping the gun like confused did on this flame, i bet it would have took her 10sec to give out good advice on how to play the job then it took to post this flame... if they don't take it move on, one mage flaming another mage is funny(i'll keep my mouth shut this time confused). thats all for now.

Thats why they have FoV and campiagn and beseiged and those 'guide the idiot npc through a deathtrap to get a exp scroll' missions. So that people can exp on their own and not bother other people with their playstyles ^^

Jungles or not, I expect there to be some resemblance to competence in your job. Dia 2 is something that should be thrown on. If it's a ninja tank blind too (maybe gravity I forget what all gravity does). Mandies fucking sucked as ninja. Also it's a good idea to get ALL your magic stats up even at low levels.

She timed her nukes and made sure the mob wasn't coming after her, and we had a pl with us.
The pl didn't get hate at all most the time and we kept a very well balanced party, even with a warrior tank.

I'd say RDM is a bit more complex than BLM. That's may be just me though. Maybe because RDM gets their nukes a bit later than BLM she thinks she can use the weaker nukes and build up less enmity because of it. I don't know.

Nah for the most part BLM and RDM have to main heal in lower level parties. Although more often than not a RDM will have to take care of alot more than a BLM.

But I find BLMs sometimes main healers in lower levels below 35+ usually.
If they got a large mp pool based on their race, then more power to them.

Does BLM w/ a WHM sub get cure? In low level parties it is a way to get a party invite. On my blm at lower levels, even back when FFXI came out for NA I was asked to main heal.

yeah sometimes I don't understand why people in dune parties around the 12-20 level ask BLMs to main heal when all they have is Cure1 it seems.
Usually they nuke and sub heal which is cool but people should know at that level it's not the best thing to go by.

Cure 2 isn't meant to be the main thing for heals as at those levels it takes quite a bit of aggro.
