And so the circle-jerking vicious cycle continues....
I've seen some threads get locked for a short amount of time so people would cool off since it was getting out of hand.
I've seen threads go on and on because it was allowed to for "entertainment" value even though it appeared to be getting out of hand in my opinion.

All you people just need to drop this instead of trying to get the last word.
Mods should have locked this a long time ago, in my opinion, or at least until some time had passed.
Neither side is willing to yield on the OP, so no resolution will be made.
It's really pointless to let this go on.

I do understand your initial standpoint, however, if you keep on doing what you are doing now, you are not putting yourself in a better position than you were in a few days ago (if that made any sense at all....).
You probably are not going to change anyone's mind, or attitude towards you who already have a negative opinion about you.
Even if the sky decided to fall, they probably won't change their ideas.
Such is life.
Letting this topic to shrivel up and die is best, because this is all pointless.
You are not proving anything to them, all the other people want is "entertainment." They will say things truthful or untruthful. You are reacting to every single thing they say, making it more enjoyable to them.

You have nothing to lose, that may be true.
Sometimes though, you have to walk away from certain situations.

Well hopefully this is over, I'm really tired of fighting and this is getting nowhere. I've had good advice to just stop responding and I think I'm going to take it, at least for now. If you would really rather not hear from me, then let me go softly into that dark night. People talking smack won't bring me back to this thread, lying about me or my friends will.

Before I go, I would like to tell you guys a little about me, since I've been told over and over how focused I am on myself, I might as well actually focus on myself for a moment. I love helping people and making them happy. If I can make another person smile, that makes me happy. I never let anyone cry or throw up alone. The person that has been the meanest, nastiest person here would still be offered help by me if they were in real need. It breaks my heart to see people or animals suffer. I have a temper, but it usually burns hot and fast, but it burns out quickly. I'm told it comes from being an Irish redhead, but I don't take much stock in that.

People do tend to attack what they don't understand, and I am a pretty complex person, and sometimes I don't understand myself LOL. As many names as you can think of to call me, my basic personality is not going to change just because someone wants it to. I've always been, for the most part, happy-go-lucky, flirty, and I admit, a bit over the top at times, but never in a way designed to harm other people.

The original post that started all this was not intended to bother any one in any way. I am truly sorry if it offended anyone, that was never my intent. I'm sure that someone can see the meanness and spite in it, but I feel that people who are mean and spiteful see that in other people, sometimes when it's not there. I think people have projected things onto me that are untrue, but hey that's your opinion and if I haven't changed it by now, I'm sure I'm not going to.

It seems like everyone in this thread has called me an attention whore, when in truth I'm an attention giver. I am a giver in every aspect of my life, and I am very gratified by meeting the needs of other people. Choosing to become a nurse is not a job to me, it is a calling. You think I would choose a job that includes getting puked on and cleaning the shit off of people if I didn't care about other people? Even working as a Dominatrix, my goal was pleasing people that had unusual needs and before you get all worked up over it, I never had sex with a single client, it was so not about sex.

It's really easy to judge people, just make sure you use the same measuring stick on yourself. This board is positively teeming with attention whores, whiners, cunts and bitches, dickheads and assholes, whores and bastards. When all is said and done, I still love you guys anyway.
