MAGNOLIA, Ark. - Sheriff's deputies said a Texas woman started a brawl at a wake in Arkansas when she arrived with a beer can in her hand.

The woman, 52, faces a third-degree domestic battery charge, as does another woman, 46, over the March 29 fight. Deputies said the first woman arrived at the Christies Chapel Church with a beer can in hand and that she refused to leave.

The first woman then allegedly grabbed a man by the face, leaving scratch marks on his lower right cheek and causing him to bleed. The man's mother then allegedly slapped the woman and kicked another woman in the chest.

A sheriff's report claimed the woman with the beer became "passively aggressive" with deputies and said that "no backwood country cop" was going to take her to jail.

I think the "backwoods" comment was aimed in the wrong direction, personally, rofl.

lol. Beer in church? Why not!? Churches have wine!

I've been reading a lot of failblog.org to keep myself entertained lately.

TL;DR version: Man comes to internet claiming a stock art website is suing him over a $18,000 bill for using stolen logos from their site that he says are his, and they stole them from him. Also that their bulldog lawyers are calling up his clients, telling them he's an art thief. Pity party ensues and bleeding hearts start up a fundraiser to pay for his attorney fees and write nasty emails to the stock art website for picking on little ol' Jon Engle.

Internet detectives delve in, find out that the lawyers haven't contacted any of his clients and that the website isn't suing him, just that they're trying to contact him over the mess. Other internet detectives use the internet archiver to find out that the art he claims is his, predates his works by many, many years. Man then removes all his art work and tears down his websites(as if any more damning evidence against him was needed) in a gigantic hissy fit about how nobody is believing his story in an epic "I'm going home and taking my ball (of lies) with me."

I read the dude's page cause Adam Savage (Mythbusters) linked it from his twitter. It seemed pretty messed up, but is a hundred times more messed up if it's just fake.

There is no "if." It(his side of the story) is fake.

Man With Flatulence Problem Stabbed - Hospitalized

WACO, Texas - A man was stabbed after causing a stink — literally — in a motel room while eating with a friend, police said.

Five men from the Houston area were sharing a Waco motel room Tuesday night, and two were inside the room eating when one had a flatulence problem, Waco police Officer Steve Anderson said. One man was so upset about the gas that he threw a large knife at him, cutting his leg, and then stabbed him in the chest, Anderson said.

The 35-year-old man was transported to a Waco hospital, where he was treated for what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries, Anderson said.

Jose Braule Ramirez, 33, of Houston, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, police said. He was arraigned Wednesday and was being held in the McLennan County Jail on $15,000 bond and placed on an immigration hold, according to jail records. He cannot be released, even if he posts bond, until authorities verify he is in the country legally.

A jail spokeswoman who declined to give her name said she was not allowed to release information on whether Ramirez had an attorney.
