Wow I can't tell if this is a joke or not, but that translation is almost totally incorrect. Before you go flaming someone for something they "supposidly" said, get a proper translation.

Raise of hands to anyone who's ever been in a PT and badmouthed someone in said PT in LS chat or via /tell to a friend?

In all reality, it's no different. Except this way, you got to see what was being said. You just couldn't immediatly translate.

Myself included, I've gone off like a drunken sailor on some bad PT members behind their backs in LS talk.

What's the correct translation?

I personally think summoners are the worst. Many summoners have about 3 lines of text for each avatar they summon and at least 1 line for each ability. Now sure they may be great poets but considering the amount a summoner summons the battle spam gets rediculous.
I agree summoners are the worst. I think at low levels it's understandable because they really don't do much then but a summoner at high level saying stuff like"I call thee great wind beast Garuda!!!!!FTW!!!!!!!!!" Is really annoying... We don't care if you want to bring out your little flying green naked woman and give us all blink, and then you also say"Guard us with your winds" or something stupid like that for blink. Yeah... /endrant

I concur.

It's not totally incorrect... just very very exaggerated in choice of words. They aren't even close to as harsh and fiendish as he's portraying them.

Stupid bitch, I've spoken Japanese and Mandarin since I was 2 and Engrish since I was three. I translated that shit, so don't tell me I'm fucking wrong. I know what it means, and if some obnoxious American chink like me were to say or spew shit to a party about the other dumbass "race", that's how I would fucking say it. So unless you can do it better than me, pull your lips out your ass, don't flame me and translate it "correctly" you cheap worthless prostitute.

I only have "<Gather Together> For <Earthern Ward> In 3 Seconds" so everyone doesn't run around like morons and can't complain if I miss them....

Owarimasu means to end... not to ditch, for one. For a chinkyjap you sure fail at japanese =o... your translation makes sense but that's some rather formal shit talk if I've ever seen it.

f you have to have a pt macro for something (I do for Haste, Refresh, Cure and Stun) just say [Haste] <t> or [Provoke] <t> or whatever. Adding sayings to macros just annoys everyone else in the pt. Pet peeve is when noob BLMs have party macros for every nuke...

But you have party macros for commonplace spells as well. o_O If you play main healer, seeing something in PT about who you're curing so much, it's going to get annoying. Same thing goes for Refresh and Haste. Having things in party should be for things people need to be made aware of, and TP is one of them. Also your pulling stages.

{Job} {Weapon} TP<tp>! is what I use and very helpful for others to remember. It's easier to remember someone in party by what job they are, and it's good to make sure you're letting the others know you have the right weapon out for the SC.

I don't have anything said in party on my WHM macros. For DD jobs, it's TP. I don't bring it up until TP is close to 100% or when the SC partner declares their TP. For pulling jobs, it's letting the party know the monster being targeted & current location, then declaring the ranged attack so they know exactly when you are starting a pull, then confirmation that you're coming back to camp, in case you decide to cancel a pull for whatever reason. I don't like it when someone is pulling, has one thing that says they attacked the mob, and then someone in PT such as a mage goes "brb". -_-

I have no problem having something said in someone's macro if it's something that isn't used so often and close to each other in battle.

I know what the fuck it means, it's the context it's used in white boy.
