Leaving Game /sigh. What to do w stuff?

Looking for creative ways of divying up over 100 mil gil & prob over 200 mil in equip, all of +1 and very rare BLM gear up to 75 and RDM up to 61. I earned what I have & noobs should have to as well. But I do not want to do a "lotto". never liked when people did that "who wants it /tell me". Any creative ideas please post. Good luck to you all in game but keep at least one eye on what matters.

use the gear to LS mates who are at end game to make their ls better

Save it for when you come back. Since no one can quit, your best to save it so you won't kick yourself when you come back.

And theway I see it, you have three choises:

1) Delete your char, and your items/gil with it
2) Give it out to your friends/LS mates
3) give it all to me

The last one was a joke, offcourse :spiteful::wink::nyam::ph34r::cool:
 
what i think you should do is give all the people that have helped you in the past (if any) all little "something", and if you have any remainder items/gil then i dont know what you should do with em.
 
Give it to those who you think really deserve the gear. People who you think have excelled at the game, but haven't had a chance to have really good gear. Hand it out to your LS friends if you can't think of anyone... Or you'll just have to give it out to some random people (my delivery box is very welcoming for nice gear)

Only problem with sharing it out between friends is that friends can get jealous of what others get.

Really, just give it to the people who mean the most to you in the game. That's what i'm planning to do.

If you don't have any friends then my offer still stands.
 
Sell everything you don't want at reduced prices (I'm not talking 100k for a Scorpion Harness or anything) and then spread the money throughout your best friends in-game. That way people who don't know you can possibly nab a really rare piece of equip cheap, and your friends benefit away.
 
Hold some kind of a competition(s). Maybe noob(low lvl jobs) races in new places or something. Trekking through true sight mobs in halvung on lvl 5 job sounds like fun ;x

What I think would kind of be a funny idea is you take a certain amount of money then go someplace anyone rarely goes then when someone shows up just go "YOU'VE WON 'x amount' GIL!" I think that'd just be funny to see the reaction on someones face. I agree with others about giving to people who deserve it. Just make sure they're not like uber rich too though.

If you're serious about giving out your stuff, online there's no simple way to do it unfortunely. There's no easy way to do this, almost any way you think of it is tedious. If you're serious and don't mind tediousness, here's a few sugguestions.

Everyone plays starcraft/warcraft, do a lotto for names and host a tourney.

Do a treasure hunt, make up a list of clever clues, and have an alt/friend waiting at the location, so they can't /sea you. Whoever reaches it first wins! Just hope you can make some really interesting brainbuster clues :P Maybe little quirks about areas you noticed over your years.

Noob ballista? Don't know how low level you can set the cap in the player set ballista arena, but it's worth a shot. Winning team gets the loot, you can do lottery for who gets to team it up.

Or my personal would-do favorite, find some random noob or location, wait til someone shows up if you pick the location, and then WHAM! CONGRATS You're RICH SON! Imagine their heart attack lol.

Some sugguestions, I guess I could come up with more if you're really going through with this. I'd sugguest keeping your stuff, I said I'd never come back and look at me..

This is one of the things I always wanted to do...

Go out and start MPKing people with NMs. When they die, raise them and give them 1 mil blood money. Find new victim, repeat.

That would take a really long time to give out 100 mil.
 
I will brainstorm clever ideas, but I just wanted to post up my sadness that you're leaving. I was just getting to know you! :( I concur that RL>FFXI, and wish you the best of luck. :)
