Leaving Game /sigh. What to do w stuff?

You could always send me a mil >.> I'm down to 1 and I have to level ninja to sub for my thf. I feel sub-par without it... -.-;;

If you're leaving, keep your possessions. You'll probably come back. But giving me 1% or 2% of your money wouldn't hurt. ^.~ Giving out free tele's isn't a lucrative business. Only time I charge for a tele is to make the money back from the worldpass I post on here.

I'd say keep it or make a scavenger hunt consisting of a bunchof junk thats never on the AH. I'd give an example of an item, but then you wouldn't be able to use it since people'd know. =P
 
First off, I am sorry your leaving the game.
Second, I dont want any of your gear/money.

A strange idea occourd to me though :) why not let the game decide
who gets the money? take a list of random people or friend or linkmates
walk them all out to a seriously mob infested area. Have some peoples
clear out all of the mobs, and then have all the level 1 moochers.. I mean
contestants... stand in a circle. a large one.. monsters spawn...
NO ONE MOVES. Last one standing gets a /random giftbag
full of goodies. Do it like 10 times or something (former winners can not
win 2x) Aggro and mob spawn placement cant be controlled or really predicted. So the game will find you the winner :)
Might be a fun lil way to give out all your goods, although I think it
would be quite the bad idea to do so since most people that quit return
in under 3 months.

This is unfortunatly the best idea I could come up with.

Pay 100 people 1 million gil to praise you in /shout and follow you around for 1hour and be a king. You might want to get an opopo crown if you don't already have one first. Pick out random people and be like "you, get me a drink!" and make them go all the way to the AH from wherever you are for like pineapple juice.

I don't think I know you. I do want to express that I'm sorry to hear you're leaving.. especially since you're a blm. After about a year of putting blm on hold I've finally started to get it to where I want it.

I do realize that, as a high lvl blm, all you have and have done are hard work, and hope that you can at least look back on it all with fond memories.

Best of luck to you in all your endeavors, and if we're all lucky, maybe we'll get to see you return.

Like two years ago something like that happened to me in windurst >.> he gave me like 11+ stacks of silk threads (70k for all back then lol) after that. Was the most money I ever had at that point >.>
 
hehe, now everyone that reads this thread will at least "offer" to help everyone that shouts for help for the next few days. I'll be deperately trying to get a pt trying to get 73 for an upcoming Divine Might Blm manaburn run on Friday.
 
There are many funny, and good suggestions here. But one thing none of us can determine, is what is the value of what you have to you? I think back on all I've gained, worked for, accomplished, and it truly is hard to think of its real value to me. So, I'll make a suggestion. If you are really quiting, and 100% are positive there will be no return, give some to friends. If you travel in like circles, they probably won't have much need for it, hence, not much value for it. But, it will make them happy you thought of them.

The rest, find one or a few people, and make thier game year. I mean, find someone you think will take it, and place near the same value into it. Take it and turn it into hard work, whether it is leveling with the gear, or crafting, or finally getting the gear they want by selling it. It will add value to them, that can't be described. All that has to come from your own thoughts, as we may see 100 Mil in gil, 200 Mil in gear, and that is the extent of the value. But some, may see, 100 Mil in gear? Thats a 100 craft finally, or 200 Mil in gear? I can finally be more of an asset to my ls.

Gil and gear does not define anyone in this game, it is the value of what it does for your playing expierence that matters, nothing more, nothing less.

sure, so long as they follow through.. call me a pessimist.. but I see people offering to help in hopes that it's the OP... then saying.. sry something came up when there's no offer of gil and/or gifts.

I don't think I've ever asked for pymnt for my help. I do so willingly, and graciously. maybe too much.. considering I play nearly every day for hours on end.. for over 2yrs.. and I'm just now getting my main to 75.

it just annoys me when my friends tell me they paid <insert name & job> here to do <insert task> because no one was available. That's all....
