Thats what /thf is there for silly. sneak attack makes blu pysical spells 100% accurate which in turn leads to why blu/thf is a viable DD.
 
Doesn't make much sense then. You'd have to wait 1 min for SA to recharge in order to guarantee your hit to land (and a chance of stun) as opposed to coming with Stun and firing that every 45 seconds.

edit: neat concept regardless but not really feasible

It'd be incredibly useful if it's Stun procs as well on Kirin as it does other mobs, since the stun spell's success rate on him is...not good at all. I've landed more Silences on him than I've seen Stuns land...

Can't say much about the proc rate of Headbutt though in comparison to enemy level.

Im sure itd be very possible with a BLU75, and maybe some blue magic merits, and your af, a dex + str build and some sushi, then Im guessing a whole lot of your head butts would land
 
If a lv 30 blu/thf can land a stun then a THf/blu using assasin can land stun every 30 seconds.

You are completely missing the point of the subjob which has been pointed out to you. the blu needs NO extra accuracy due to sneak attack.
 
Even if you land Head Butt on him, at level 30, I doubt it would stun him. From my experiences at the higher levels (60+), even when the spell lands, the stun doesn't activate a lot of the time. And that's just on exp mobs (VT-IT).

that would be next to useless though, theres a good possibility stun wont even kick in due to the low blue magic level. It would be impossible to stun him as 30blu/thf no matter what.

btw, I wanna know why you and other people constantly try to make me look like a dumbass. Seems like its a lot of peoples life mission, now.

If a mob is stunned at any point in the middle of a cast, the spell doesn't go off, unless they have manafont up and aren't stunned when the spell finishes. So even if the stun only lasts a fraction of a second, Stonega or w/e wouldn't go off. Kirin doesn't cast that many spells, so two people on a rotation with 100% stun should be able to stun everything he tosses out.
 
Head Butt isn't 100% Stun from what I understand.

"We" aren't. You're doing it to yourself. I was merely pointing out your flawed logic involving using stuff to boost accuracy on a move that will be without a doubt 100% accurate so that it stands a chance of hitting makes no sense.

but what you arent understanding, is that SA doesnt effect the stun activation rate, AND it can still be resisted, I know from experience. I do not understand how this makes me a dumbass when my logic isnt flawed, but is factual. Explain to me?
 
A level 30 BLU/THF would land Head Butt with SA, for 0 dmg and no Stun effect.

I tried 75NIN/37BLU on dolls in Sky at the Despot camp. I was spamming and landed almost all of them, for some dmg, but never once did it stun. I landed it on a few Meltdown to that were not interrupted so it's not a case of "not seeing the Stun message", it just didn't stun at all.

Same with other spells like Wild Oats. I had no problem landing it but once I turned around and waited for "The effect of Vitality down wears off" message, it never came.

So no, a level 30 BLU would not have nearly enough blue magic skill to Stun Kirin.

Edit: And subbing BLU won't do any good either. SE probably made it on prupose (hence the blue magic skill) so 75% of the server would not sub BLU. Seriously, 4 Melee/BLU, a brd and a rdm would just stun-lock any exp mobs and clean house in any merit area.

no I said a lv 75 blu with merits, acc/str/dex might be able to, but I cannot say for sure because Ive never seen a blu fight kirin
 
BLM stun is very flaky on Kirin. I'm lucky to stun every 1/5, and thats with near enough full Dark Magic gear...
