Limbus hate issues

Here's a massive update, It's definitely party hate and I have solid evidence. Apollyon NW, last floor pulling one of the three baby behes to my group.

I do not have any /ra, nor do I want to voke since frankly I don't want to tank those the whole time. I aggro pull, the baby behe takes down 2 of my shadows, I stop and cast Ni. AND BAM /goodbye Behe, he starts running straight at the pt, who was waiting for him anyways. So yep, thats all the proof I need for pure party hate right there, the second anything is even aggroed, anyone doing any action upon it will gain hate. And yes it was yellow/"unlcaimed" since I merely aggroed to pull. So take care on your pulls and have your tank up front to voke asap to keep your mages safe!

just want to clear something up. The bolded section is a little unclear to me, did someone in the pt make a direct action ON the mob itself? be it Dia/Gravity/anything else, or was it a similar circumstance of a rdm convert/cure4 themselves? or another high enmity move that didn't hit the mob? (warcry/sentinel/etc).

If the mob was unclaimed when it was chasing you and someone made an action on it you would be removed from the hate list and it would go after the other person.

Thanks for the update, it definatly looks like they do indeed share party hate, and that explains everything from my initial post :D.

Unrelated, but you can safely pull with provoke and not worry about tanking any more than you would have before, the enmity from provoke is almost entirely gone in 30 seconds, as long as someone provokes off you at camp, and is able to almost keep up with your damage (nin tank, do people use pld in limbus?) you'll be fine.
 
I'm sorry let me rephrase, I definitely typed that way wrong.

lolpld yeah we actually had a pld tank for NW XD but w/e it worked. I'm not lead so Idc as long as we win, and I'm not knocking anyone in my LS, I'm just saying rare to see a PLD doing regular zones (centrals not included)

If you're Manaburning the zone he was doing, if you bring more then the casual Refresh and 2-3 Decently geared BLM...and have more people you're going with.

It's nice to have PLD to attempt to keep some hate off the BLM or SAM/RNG/Whichever DMGing it down. Sucks when Meteor hits your people, since it will cast and not always know who it's on. Even with an Hate Macro.

PLD/NIN T2T Tanking Omega as well, is nice. Better then NIN/DRK in the fact PLD can get hate back faster, and can keep hate nicely/Kite to farm Gunpods When it's close to death(for kiting purposes). Not to mention getting hate back after a Hate Reset, Flash > JA. W~alla. Or 2hr and we'll you'll pretty much have hate till you die. Lol

Not saying NIN/DRK sucks Tanking Omega, but without an PLD to flash/JA hate to nab hate during farming, going to be real hard for the NINs to keep hate through nukes/cures specially when they're running everywhere, and Omega keeps running out of range of hate spells.

So yes, People use PLD in Limbus. They are very useful.

I wasn't talking about Omega, we use PLDs for Omega, Ultima too if you want to get picky. Taking a PLD to a normal zone is a waste though, we're able to farm most zones with a fairly standard "cannon" merit pt setup and have no difficulties, a NIN provoke is more than enough, if the WARs don't want to do it.
