Linkin Park, what have you done?

I liked the beat more than their singing :?
which is what you hear from some rap fans, but I would rather listen to something that is a constant one word sentence such as

"yo... yo...yo...YO..YO...listen.. YO..yo... yo.. yo.. here we go now.. yo YO YO....yo-YO..."
They might of done that in a couple of there songs..but I mean, throughout the song.
My sister was driving me from my moms house to my dads, and all she played was rap, I wanted to commit seppeku then, anyways, about 4/5 of the songs she listened to only had 3 words in them
Yo, fuck, and bitch
That is it, and it kept repeating it...
That is not what I like to listen to...

Oh well, back to the better music(classic rock, and heavy metal and Techno) :D

I gotta say on this note, I used to like LP, when I was 13. As for Jay-Z, only his older stuff is any good. His new CD is crap. All he says is "Greatest rapper alive!" and "Ya now tuned into the muthafuckin greatest!" so imo Jay-Z+ Linkin Park = a crime against music in general. Also Jay-Z just said he was leaving the industry, and now he's back.....

OH and as for all this rap bashing, I think most people listen to the mainstream rap that is just garbage, I really could care less how much money you have. now Mac Dre (R.I.P) was amazing as is Del (tron303, the funky homosapian). Then again I give just about every kind of music a fighting chance. You can't classify a whole genre by the crap they play on MtV

Bah! I can't get in to all these new bands.

Give me Greenday, AFI, Weezer, Offspring, NIN, 311, hell, anything from the early/mid 90's back when MTV played music videos and actually had funny programming and I'm very pleased.

 I love Greenday and Weezer <3

*Have you heard the newest Greenday cd? Soooo good.

I love the new Greenday Album sooo much (It's all I've been listening to since I got it). And to think they were once just a local band round here. ^^

Oh and much much love to the Offspring who's new album aint' the best, but still good.

Del is the cat's ass...the Bee's knees!!! He makes my heart giggle and scream out in delite!!

Do you have any of his old shit, with Hyro? Or 3030? I <3 Del

<3 Greenday All the way! >. >

I got all the Albums :D. lol.....Yep......

O_O... LP and Jigga man... /sigh... WTF were they thinking... that's asking for disaster like when Kid Rock screwed up the lines to "99 problems"...

Bah... I shall not continue...

Skc

PS. Jigga's first album was the best, his last one was the second best. All I gotta say is this: "22 To's" ~ "THREATS".

me too.

Faint kicks teh ass. so does In The End.

Well ever since they teamed up with Jay-Z they've been getting more popular and i still like em :) good thing to get more fans :P

American Idiot far surpassed my expectations. It sounds like they found their inner Clash, for the moment anyway.

As for Linkin Park and Jay-Z, they're just cashing in on the success of that Jay-Z/Beatles mash-up the Beatles people were up in arms about. Same concept, old lyrics over someone else's music. The idea that Linkin Park is any worse than before because they teamed with a rapper is silly since the hip hop influence has been evident since day one.

Robert Smith mopes better than that Chester dude could ever dream.

Marry me.

for you

Wake.. from your sleep
The drying of your tears
Today we escape, we escape

Pack.. and get dressed
Before your father hears us
Before all hell breaks loose

Breathe, keep breathing
Don't lose your nerve
Breathe, keep breathing
I can't do this alone

Sing.. us a song
A song to keep us warm
There's such a chill, such a chill

You can laugh
A spineless laugh
We hope your rules and wisdom choke you
Now we are one in everlasting peace

We hope that you choke, that you choke
We hope that you choke, that you choke
We hope that you choke, that you choke

Robert Smith also knows how to do more than complain in his music, the Cure is just as much pop as they are morose, and it's not just self pity.

Linkin Park could get three wishes and still only be half what the cure is

Red wine and sleeping pills
Help me get back to your arms
Cheap sex and sad films
Help me get back where I belong

I think you’re crazy, maybe
I think you’re crazy, maybe

Stop sending letters
Letters always get burned
It’s not like the movies
They fed us on little white lies

I think you’re crazy, maybe
I think you’re crazy, maybe

I will see you in the next life

One thing I don't get is how They play the song on both rock countdown and hip hop countdown... Lol.... BTW both jay-z and lp suck my ass. I listen to heavy metal anyhow...

Heavy metal is an extremely relative turn.
Ratt is classified as heavy metal, and so is Cryptopsy, yet they share almost not common elements.
