well you obviously know that you cant send/receive tells from outside the game, so get over it. thats the closest thing there is, and thats what he was referring to.
Neo, I get the feeling that you still have barely scanned the discussion.
You're wrong about what Blazn "thought" we were talking about, if for no other reason than the fact that I have multiple private messages from him talking about it. Still, it should have been clear just from our public posts what was going on. Look at what was said again, please.
He was responding to something
I SAID, not the other way around. I was the one "referring to" something. I set the path of the conversation, and I set the topic. We are talking about TELLS, here. The first mention of it came from me.
He, in fact, linked to a completely unrelated website for an IM-protocol-joiner (perhaps as an attempt at misdirection, or perhaps out of simply being mistaken) and claimed that one would be able to send tells to FFXI from it.

He was either very confused, or was plucking smoke from thin air. Both are equally possible, but he did understand we were talking about tells.
I said that for immediate, direct interaction with the game, an outside piece of software would be necessary ... even for something as simple as sending a tell.
He responded with:

u can all rdy send tells from a web brow to game lol
It's possible, at that point, he was just confused about the Playonline Plus system, but once he responded to what I said here:

Could you show me where? All I know of is the message-sending system, which is basically e-mail.
With that bogus Meebo site, it was clear that he had something very different in mind. I mentioned and made an allowance for Playonline Plus there. This is the part you didn't read, or at least one of them.
Blazn did, and he made it clear that he quite understood that we were discussing something else.
