My main problem with Texas Roadhouse is that I feel like the steaks are too thin. I didn't really like their filets, though admittedly I haven't tried their other cuts. It's one of my mom's favorite places to eat though, and the butter for their rolls is really good there.

I must be the only one in this topic that doesn't like bacon. I was entertained though when someone in my linkshell got a Baconator that somehow was without bacon. He was bitching about that for hours.

My solution to the problem is get the sirloin.
 
I never order a fillet from anywhere. More meat for the buck is what I usually go for with prime rib being the exception a lot of the time.

meh bacon is mehish to me, I usually dont eat it, but then again I dont eat pork bacon I eat turkey bacon and sometimes beef bacon(fat and tough...)

what's everyone's best place for subs? I know Jersey Mike's in Clarksville wins hands down meatball sub>all
 
turkey bacon is pimp of all bacons. pork bacon is ok, but i lurvs me some turkey bacon :>

For some wierd reason up here, even though we have great steakhouses all around, I prefer the Red Lobster steak and shrimp >.>

Was that a Wendy's baconator without bacon? LOL Hope he didnt ask them to hold the bacon when ordering. I hate ordering in the drive throu, if I dont check it right after its usually wrong.

How do you have your steak cooked? I'm pretty sure that, with a filet, if you order it medium well or well done, they will butterfly it so it doesn't take 124324342 years to cook. It looks pretty thin after that.

Fillets are meant to be cooked medium rare onry >.<

As for subs I have 3 favorite places one is Geneco's in Lockport IL Obee's here in Joliet and Jimmy John's.

T.G.I Friday's has this burger it has fried provolone bacon and cheddar on it. This burger may have beat out the baconator.

Steak in general is not meant to be medium well or well done. I'm a medium rare girl. If I had to eat a ribeye, which I don't care for because of all the fat, I may consider medium to medium well. Not well done, though; if I wanted some beef jerky, I'd go to 7-11.
