It's getting old. Obviously there is much more discussion banking off of a topic, or the discussion wouldn't be happening. Me being quiet too long as a good will gesture to moderation has obviously been a problem, retards are now spouting off freely.
That being said, in response to Diabllos
Organizational Structure:
Admins
Having the most power and most responsibility, should only be brought in for bigger discussion. Number one priority would be securing the right people to do the mundane tasks and appropriate the workload of the site
Global Moderators
Not as much power as an admin, but still well too busy to deal with petty shit.
Forum Specific Moderators
Localized power in specialized areas. Should stick to their respective areas, and be knowledgable both of the topics in their respective forums as well as the wants / needs of the members in the areas. Think of it like Congressmen. They are the voice of the people that want changes made to their respective places.
Users
No administrative power, first to notice any problems. MANY problems can be fixed on their own. Users can customize things as much as they want, and utilize this forum when things can't be done on the individual basis. Admins / Global Mods / Forum Specific mods shouldn't be wasting their time on mundane tasks that can be taken care of with a 30-second fix on your own, rather bettering the site by listening to the proper channels.
Treat it like a business. If there's a free tool you can use to better your workspace, you'd do it. Popping bullshit things into a suggestion box that ultimately the president of the company reads and has to make responses to is not time nor cost-effective. It isn't here either.
