Well as I wasn't there until after the switch, I can't comment on what I saw myself, but I can say from the pics like this I've seen here, the corpses seem to be in the middle based on these pillars. Now I can imagine a recovery that would go something alone the line of slowly sending out a guy to claim Kirin and try to die somewhere safe while pulling out a majority of recoverable alliance, but what we have here are unconscious people who cannot be raised without aggroing Kirin. There were going to be 3 other gods, not 2, because they only killed 1 before the wipe. To say this could have been one is far fetched at best.

not the mention the very high chance someone in OH or Valks would of gotten aggro from a god/kirin.
 
I'm of the opinion that when you go out, you claim NMs that other LS could use for pop items, you take a ??? that 2 other LS wish to use... if someone wants to pick up where you failed, so be it.
 
You guys keep making it seem the like the worse thing in the world to not let it depop, yeah there's some greed in taking it, but honestly, what do they lose by us taking it at that point?

(they weren't going to recover, stop bringing that up, they had 3 gods to go)

they should have been in the portal room while BoL was fighting kirin the entire time anyways. And ya.. I stopped arguing this cause what's done is done. OH wouldn't even think about giving BoL atleast one or two of the drops (crystals don't count of coarse) cause there is greed in their mindsets (atleast some of em) but they atleast are offering something.. which is help on your next attempt at kirin which is good. And though I was arguing with dave and fire.. I know they are both very good BLM and I have never seen Fire's other jobs in action.. but I imagine he's good at them too so that offer should really be considered. This thread is done.. and ya.. my thoughts towards OH aren't good.. but that's cause of their leaders (that I know of being leaders).. not most of the LS itself. Though people like Moev sure make your shell look good, eh? So that's more the reason I prolly sided with BoL. However.. with the bias aside.. I'd still see it as wrong. Cause they did work for those pop items with all that time and there's no reason they shouldn't get something from it. And if it's true that Prophecy thinks 1-7pm EST on Saturday and Sunday are reserved for him... then that's bullshit.

actually it does affect us and other shells. cause what if any other shell is up there, are you going to trust that they don't claim your kirin in the same situation?

Debate my point on what bol would of lost if we let it despawn (and lose alot more exp in the process).

I never said there wasn't any greed in taking, of course there's something we want, we are already warping when we took it, if we didn't want anything we would of kept warping and not spend an extra hour and tons of exp/gil there. (not to mention have people we -just- warped rush back to sky). But is it so wrong to take it? You're trying to make it look as if we outright stole it, which we did not.

Yanzi if you're elluding to an insult come out and say it. Because I have one for you. I've read your posts, on this debate, and on other debates, and I think you're a toal snob. You have argued with me on just about everything ever since, ironically, the thread about BoL MPKing you, to which I defended them(and still do). Every chance you get you mention how Japanese are better than NA. Every chance you get you mention how you are morally superior to all others. Every chance you get, you use poorly thought out extremely biased analogies and ignore that they have powerful flaws when applied to the situation at hand.

Now I am not a perfect person. And I make mistakes. And I insult others for making mistakes. But I apologize for what I do wrong, and I make attempts to make things right when that happens. So when you like to take low blow after low blow and stalk me around, eventually you're going to set me off. And it won't be pretty.

obviously... you need to know how long it would take before kirin despawns. they just wiped... and i honestly don't think they were given enough time to recover.

besides... kirin is a forceable pop. what's theirs is theirs. if they prefer to have their kirin despawn, then let them have their kirin despawn.

I say it affects us cause how can we trust OH to not do something similar to us? I'd sure as hell give it a fighting chance to try and take kirin and anything he summoned and might summon later after a wipe. It's fun to try and the feeling after would be great cause I could say "even though we wiped then.. atleast we won in the end!" or if kirin depopped while we were trying to continue the fight then I could say to myself "well we gave it our all! never stopped trying!" but what's to trust that OH won't be up there.. waiting.. and saying "oh! they're so gonna wipe and won't be able to take it cause we think so.. so let's just take it from them and not let it go to waste!" I really can't trust OH to not do that.. even if you say "well we give you our word.." or if prophecy (especially prophecy) said that.. I couldn't trust that for shit.

if you live in the US (and or were an educated person) you would know that taking what isn't yours is considered theft. just as if you ran off with said armored car's contents you would be arrested for theft.

you know OH had 3 choices there.
do nothing and let it depop.
claim it for their own.
help raise BOL and god forbid aid them in recovering.

personally if push came to shove, id be rooting for the third choice if it was BOL and Valkyr up there and not BOL and OH. Neither one of these LS's have proved themselves to be totally trustworthy or honarable in the past. But then again they aren fucking Lucifar either.

greed my friends, is so fucking worthless in the end.
choice 3 however might get you further in life if you dont just plain Fail at it.
