Look at what this dumb bitch wrote.

By the way, talking the way you do (especially on the internet where you are obviously doing it intentionally) makes you seem like a piece of street trash, which, by the way, is not a good thing.
Fuck you play hata

If you are a "playa", then yes, I do hate you.

As for the fuck you part, no thanks. Maybe you should ask Roofie.

(lol, sorry I just couldn't resist  )

Nevertheless, to retort:
You STILL wont be prosecuted. What will happen is this: Square Enix will maybe issue a warning, or maybe they will simply terminate your account. There won't be any litigation. Fuck your "7th grade" comment. 7th graders make comments like that. YOU WILL NOT BE SUED. They will merely terminate your account. The letigious aspect is then thrust upon the person who's account has been terminated. They may then wish to sue Square-enix for unlawful termination of contract. They would probably lose given the information that you have shown. So hold your "idiot" and "7th grade" comments for idiots and seventh graders you flaming flame-board flamer.

Excuse me? When did I say you would be sued? I believe the word I used was can. You canbe sued for breach on contract. It happens all the time. Will they sue? I'd bet money that if I set up a bot I wouldn't even hear from SE. They really don't give a shit as long as you're paying your fees.

They really don't give a shit as long as you're paying your fees.

Damn skippy.
So if the people being wronged don't feel wronged, is there a wrong? No. Not in any practical sense. In the philosophical sense, sure. Its like how people claim that there is a god, or claim that there isn't. Truthfully, everyone MUST be an agnostic because until you die, there is no sure way of knowing wither way.
So is there a wrong here? Not really. I was speaking to the practical. Any "7th grader" could realize that given my language. Most people aren't operating in any sense of grand existential right and wrong. You confuse me with an imbecile.
No, I take that back. You were more concerned with insulting me than you were in any practical truth. Hence your "idiot" and "7th grade" comments. You found a chink in the armor and decided to ram a tank through it.
So is there a noral wrong being made here? Fuck no. That leads to my "playta hata" comment.
You call it "street language", but can you find a more apt, direct description? No. You can say "A jealous person", but playa hata is direct, accurate, elloquent, and poetic.

Because some people don't speak in the same manner as you do doesn't mean they aren't capable of communicating well.

It's not just the inflation, it's the fact that gil sellers are competing for resources against people trying to earn gil the old fashioned way. In Ghelsba Outpost, for example, there's "Elvaangirl". You can find her there pretty much any time of any day -- in '/anon' mode, and logging as fast as "she" can. There's a 2nd player there (whose name escapes me at the moment) doing the same thing. There are ONLY two logging points active at any one time in that area. If you try to go do some logging to raise gil, these people will move right in on your logging point (w/o respect to whomever got their first) to try to log the point out from under you. I know people who just don't want to log there because they're sick of having their logging points stolen. The only time this person isn't there is when she's full and has to go unload. I don't think this is a bot. I think it's a paid gil-seller operating the player.

It's amazing how as soon as real money enters the picture, respect for other players in the game is disregarded. They are gonna make their money and they really don't care who they have to screw-over to do it.

i dont see the elvaangirl there much but have seen her there often. there is a taru that is there...the name is rose"somtthing" constantly inviting me to pt when im 60 lvls above just to mess with me and is always asking for axes. and i actually reported that person for harrassment. and there is one more that i see there often. i also cant remmeber that persons name. then there is a high lvl dark that farms in zitah that sells gil also

I've ran into that Rosesomething taru too. He asked me for pickaxes too. I figured he was a JP trying to cap off his inventory so I gave him 2. Then he started bugging me, asking me over and over again for pickaxes. I kept telling him to leave me alone, but he wouldn't. So I blacklisted him. He followed me for a few minutes until he finally left.

Oh and if you haven't noticed he has a mithra buddy too. After I blacklisted him. A mithra came up to me and asked me the same question in the same manner, "gie 2 pickaxe you ok?".

I just read through this entire thread and i'm glad the flameboard has another hit.

Someone mentioned Supply and demand does not exist in FFXI. I'm willing to debate Supply and demand does exist.

If your not able to believe this. Then it's something you have yet to come accross. As we all know the worlds greatest market in FFXI is in Jeuno. And like all other Auction houses the items it has up for sale are all bound by the limitations of the items current existance... By number. Also when the item is short on stock, people will have a tendancy people put their items up for a higher price.

These higher priced items can either be sold to someone who wants it bad enough or the item itself will increase in availibility over time. bringing in more competetive prices.

-It's no secret that the item that sells for the lowest price is the first to go

-Square gave us a limited amount of Auction House space for our items. for the sake of the user to have the drive to get rid of their items faster.

-Auctioning off Items we can put up as high or low as we please in terms of how much it costs. Putting it in for too much, the item will not sell. and again the lowest one goes first.

Example 1: Aristocrat's coat. 20,000,000 G

On our Server the first one to appear in AH was on Dec. 17 2003.
6 monthes later anotherone shows face in AH.

-Isaemon was the first to synth this, and is the 2nd Aristrocrats coat really another existing one ? Or are they trying to patten the price that has been written for it ?
Either way i know a vast amount of WHM that would do anyhting for it.

Example 2 : Yes the "Kraken Club"

-What it does makes people "Want it"
-How rare it drops makes "people suffer for it"
-And ofcoarse the supply (which is currently 0)

Need i say ? If this club was something that droped like HQ crabshells it would be affordable for everyone that desires it.

This is all Supply and Demand

As for Bot fishing, it does not bother me, and it is not a threat because I don't see it effecting the ecconomy at all. People need their items to sell in AH, or else they will be making less money having to sell items to NPC's due to congested space in the AH.

More extrodinary items sell for more, beucase of what they do and how they came to be. But what is even more extrodinary is the fact that this game has simulated rewards and consenquences in such a way, Imagine how things would be if absolutly everyone sold everything for dirt cheap. As it would turn out, our achievements leave us thristy for the next goal. Botters beware, when you reach goals that are gil related, you will be robbed of the proud feeling you should get upon achievement.

those two are friends...they are seen with each other all of the time. i recommend BListing them both. however, that still doesnt stop them from being able to stop their constant invites. and like i said, i have contacted a gm because of constant "harrassment" i dotn know if anything was done though

I am SOOOOOO glad I reda this thread. One day in Ozotra castle I was farming yagudo and Meat Maggots. I get an invite from this "Bot" named Sleaven. She is a drg. I thought ok what the hell...I accepted. Then without a word she comenced to attacking anything and everything...I was kinda creeped out...I didn't understand her intentions...I just kept watching her attack the crabs and such in the pond area...after 5 min I said screw this and disbanded. She didnt stop until her hp was damn near gone and ran to another character who healed her and off she went again....Is this a "Bot"?

Gil farmer....dunno why but they insist on other players healing them. Same happened to a friend of mine in Delkfutts tower, guy was running around killing giants and asking for cures, he ended up dead eventually.
