You misunderstood and that's possibly my fault. If one LS sells it while others need it, I can bet that the ones that need it wouldn't be all that happy. Again, you can chalk it up to jealousy, but I can assure you some of the comments are going to involve the person not earning it and paying for it.
So I misunderstood your horribly inaccurate assumption, but you're going to keep going like it's actually relevant. If the linkshell sells the item to someone outside the linkshell when there are still members who need it; that's wrong. When no one in the linkshell needs it, selling it is a lot better than letting it go to waste. Selling it when people in the linkshell need it isn't relevant at all, this is only when they no longer need the item. You would rather that the items go to waste than both the linkshell that got the item and someone not in the linkshell benefits. Glad to know where you stand, hope your linkshell never stops needing everything; because you obviously won't help others out.
You wear a good shirt on a date to make a good impression. Wearing the same shirt as some slob isn't going to make a great impression and it's not your fault, but lets face it, thats whats going to happen. At first you date might think the shirt is great and looks good on you, but after seeing the slob, the association will make it less appealing.
Or it'll make me look more appealing compared to a slob who wears similar clothes, or more likely no one would care in the slightest. Just stop with the dating example, it's horribly flawed and barely applicable. It's not diminishing any accomplishments, because no accomplishments had been made at that point; unless you count getting dressed an accomplishment.
I didn't know we had to have a degree of severity to everything. So we can differentiate gil buyers based on how much gil they buy or how often they buy? How often hackers cheat? Or all it takes is one time. They stooped to buying from RMT without even caring to acknowledge that it was when it was very obvious. And ignorance is no excuse.
Funny, plenty of people(yourself included) seemed to LOVE the idea of ignorance when buying things off the auction house, hell you practically worshiped it in the thread. There was a complete lack of any actual evidence, just massive conjecture that the idiots who jumped on the bandwagon thought was gospel and blew out of proportion.
And I am allowed to give my opinion just as much as you are. If you don't like it, you can shut up at any time. But seeing as how you need to continue to berate me and my opinions without ever once shutting up, I guess my opinion is a lot more valid than you give it credit. Really, the personal insults are getting annoying. I haven't really attacked you and yet you persist as if you can someone win an argument by being more of a dick when in fact you do more harm to the argument. If you think insults are the only way to win an argument, you are sorely mistaken.
Yeah, you're allowed to have an opinion, but stop acting like you're going to actually change anything when you have no influence one way or the other. You're acting like you speak for everyone, when in reality you're only speaking for yourself, no one else cares about selling items you no longer need. The only reason this thread was made in the first place was because
the price was too high, not because of the actual sale. You're also backing your opinion up with stupid logic and lack of understanding of facts, mixed with some selfishness.
This is no different than buying any other NM drop, just the sources for it are less common.
