I didn't use no carbonara nor no enm60 earring.

But I did use a blink band and that's all Swishiee would need aswell I think.
I would rather use one of those sole sushis I saw in the inventory there though.
Sure, hedgehog pie's are sweet, but not really worth it unless you have pcc, o.hat, hauby and maybe even a couple of snipers.
Especially since your GA isn't capped.


Blink band + sole = win, easily.

On to the main topic. If you want to beat Maat, the best advice I can give(though I dunno if it'll be considered advice or whining here) is treat every Warrior's test as if it's your last. Focus as much gil in the one you're on as possible, you'll waste so much more trying to save gil and losing repeatedly.
 
Just level THF to 65 and steal the item from him without spending gil on silly potions/items or this silly opo opo necklace shit :cool:

i beat maat on my second try, didnt have any über food, just used a mithkabob (beat him up before there was sushi and all that other stuff)

mashed him with axe/shield combo, and got lucky (never blocked a hit tho xD) ill post the vid i made in a bit, uploading it atm >.<

Haha none taken. I laughed my first few times. It was just this time I thought I had a win in the bag. And obviously I didn't. Hoping to try again tonight. There will be a thread in Good Times if it ends well.
 
Maat is sab's grandpa. the MPK ability runs in the family.

Hey dude, sorry to hear your woes with Maat. I know how you feel, I just went through it myself just over a week ago. I agree that the Maat fight does have a "luck factor". My unluckyness was made evident at the end of one of my fights..

I only had time to use 2 Hi-pots between Asuran fists. With a 2 second use time, that's 4 seconds to get back some of that HP. No lovearu for the Crookmeister. :(

If you need any help getting a new test, and would like the assistance of a 70 BRD, lemmie know. Getting up on your feet again quickly is one of the best things you can do. :)

I didn't wear a single point of Accuracy in my Maat fight and didn't miss a swing, including in Penta Thrusts.

Then again, my skill was CAPPED.

First two times I tried I did 1h axe which was stupid on my part. And the last time I forgot to use my food.

But this time I'm level 70, GAxe skill is a little behind, but nothing that would hurt for this fight. I have decent gear for Attack and STR. I JUST DON'T GET WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED AND THE OLD FUCKER IS PISSING ME OFF. X(

The Haste Belt looks useful as does the Spartan Hoplon. Better to pay the money now, than risk blowing it again and losing another icarus wing.
