This asshole serisouly smacks me down. Here is what I was wondering...

A) Should I use counterstance? I did, up to you if your garka go ahead i am taru lol
B) What WS should I use? Raging Fist
C) Different food?
D) Should I wait till level 70? So is good but he can asuran u then
E) Anything I'm missing? Seems to me you got it down just seem nervous in fight, relax ;)

I watched a vid where some guy went in, in full AF(lol me), didn't sleep or blink, and still won...so wtfunk am I doing wrong? Absolutely nothing

There's an ancient problem where multi-hit WSes got full TP return per hit. Made MNKs able to break 100TP with every Asuran Fists they did, was easily abusable. It was fixed long ago though, think shortly after they made Marlboro and Goobbue uncharmable.
 
cept he couldnt have done asuran unless he had already beaten maat. and holy crap, that would be badass to still be able to do, if i still played that is. nuthin but ws's lol

Last time, then fuck you guys.

It wasn't every Asuran Fists. It was with Relic Knuckles. Normally you'd have only 40-44%(5/5 x4, 5/6 x4) returned based on your weapon type. It also wasn't just an issue with Monks, but rather any 5-Hit or higher weaponskill paired with a Relic Weapon and Dual Wield with /NIN in the case of Beastmaster , White Mage, and Thief(paired with a high delay sub weapon such as an Axe, or upper delay Sword/Hammer,) or any 5-Hit or higher Weaponskill paired with /SAM just from the Store TP traits. Every Relic returned 18% TP per hit, with the exception of Knuckles(which returned 14%/hit)

The TP system itself was the problem, not one specific job. Monk just did actual damage with it, but Beastmaster/Paladin/Thief/Red Mage/Bard/White Mage could as well.

B) Raging Fists is A+
C)Carbona is fine
D) I suggest 70 but you can try.
E) Have Vile Elixir +1 will help

Now how to beat him?
1) Before you get in equip a staff or a club since your hand to hand is cap ( this will make him hit like a girl.)
2)Use your Blink band
3) Sleep until you get 100%Tp
4) Eat ur food (duh)
5) Start Boosting to 9 times. Use Focus and dodge
6) Chi-Blast Maat, when this is done please start Hundredfisting him. Listen up, DO NOT DO NOT Weapon skill him yet. Once he Pops his Hundredfist THAT when you Raging Fists his ass. At the same time use ur Vile Elixir +1 and also ur Tp wing and Raging Fists his ass again. When this is done you have beaten up Maat.

It always works like charm and ppl come back laughing how easy it was. Gear doesn't really matter. I hope this helped~ Good luck~

This was PERFECT, I survived not only with 800+ HP, I didnt even have time to use my 2nd WS because I pwn'd him so much~! Thank you so much for the advice :)

Makes no difference, never has never will. I refuse to believe it. This is the biggest superstition since "the Millionaire Desk giving you TH" lie came out. I went in on my first try naked level 66 as a rdm and he was still casting level 69 Aero III on me and they weren't weak nukes either. So as far as I'm concerned he doesn't match your level or stats. It's all in people's heads.

I was always under the impression that this was the source of the original Drg "Nerf" as Drgs could spam penta and then shed hate with a jump.

Biggest mistake SE ever made. Maybe if they let the poor DRGs have there penta trust spam they wouldn't have become the most alienated job in the game. Well until PUP took over, lol.

Yea, I figured it made no difference either, but hey, it can't hurt right? Puttin the gear back on takes 2 seconds.

I said able to, not always. If someone used to be able to do something, does one really hafto go into specifics as to how? I even mentioned that all multi-hit WSes had the same TP problem, and you go and clarify further as if people don't know what I meant by it. God Skaw, you really needto relax and stop treating everyone like drooling idiots.
