beat the bugger on my 1st try..... as a 69blm^^
i can still vaguely rmemeber how that fight went.....
ice day
i flood him
he pops a waterga or blizzaga on me that knocks me down to 60hp (in which i was about to quit... but decided to keep going anyways)
i elemental seal Sleep2 him (at that time my enf was around 140.. quite low)...
i firaga3 him (big mistake... didnt do much damage to him... should have did another ancient)...
i stun his ancient...
he Frosts me...
i nuke with my strongest spells (water 3 doing the most damage... even more than my firaga3 did)
he comes in for a physical attack..... MISSES.......
..... then came the showdown.....
his water3 vs my stone4....
my stone4 made it out RIGHT before his water3 could...... and i won.....
then in all my rejoicing after the fight...... i noticed frost was still on me...... my cure didnt come out till i only had 6hp remaining.... 2 seconds more and i would have died... and deleveld to 68....
and that is how i won using minimal resources (only had 1 melon pie which costed me 600 of my last 1k gil).... crappy enf..... ALOT of luck (frost and physical attack missing^^ )..... and some good old fashioned NUKING!!!!
