Valoran: I don't know if Kicamo is going to respond with his strategy, so I'll go over the points I recall from your description.
I believe he was working under the impression that Maat will 2 hour after he takes a lot of damage at once. Whether he waits for a certain percentage, or just when he takes spike damage, I'm not certain.
However, as I understood, Kicamo merely went in, did his monk thing (forgive me, RDM talking here) and engaged Maat. I have to assume there was an Opo Opo necklace involved for TP gain before engaging. Engage Maat and merely do standard attacks. Potions to heal and I know he used a Vile Elixir and a VE +1. He waited until Maat 2 houred, and responded with his WS, followed by Hundred fists of his own. I think the vile elixir +1 was used here. TP gained for another WS, Vile elixir before WS (Maat hits hard) and finished it with a WS. Must have used Dragon Kick or Howling Fist, again I'm not certain which would have been better in this case.
He went over the log, and he said he got lucky, Maat didn't use a weaponskill. I'd be surprised, but maybe Maat really didn't want to hurt the big garka Monk? He credited the second VE for his win, since he finished the fight with less than a quarter of his HP left.
