I would 100% agree with the moderation staff, if not for one missing element. Below is post #3 and #16. The only difference being, Dej wouldn't go even if it was free. These posts are the missing element in that they haven't been deleted. Is it because they weren't reported? If that's why, is it that Deja's was selectively reported because he's Deja?

I agree 100% that Deja digs his own hole a lot. And I agree, in this case it could be trolling cause I have no reason to believe he'd have posted if Miros didn't post it. But that shouldn't justify Miros' choosing to report his post and the staff/liaisons not also marking the other posts considering they have the same content. It makes it apparent that this is beyond simply moderating. It's flat out apparent (though I'm not claiming unearned) bigotry towards Dejavu.

Deja, you should come to expect it. And though you're trying to be a martyr, I think a lot see villain. And assessing yourself as an ass justifies it. Expect the same situations to keep on happening until you get banned, unless you adjust your habits. Not saying you can't give your opinion, just try some tact, if not for caring at least to not scare away your potential audience.

Staff/Miros, Deja gets under your skin. No one can discount that in the slightest. But two wrongs don't make a right? You can't expect to look like the good guys when you aren't consistent. Maybe this is why people wind up bitching and complaining. Say what you will about me always coming to defend Dejavu, but I see a lot of that in you guys with each other. Let Deja rot if you guys can nonbiastly moderate him into permaban. This has not been an example of being nonbiast.

Ultimately I would like to see the feud end. And hopefully, in a civil way that isn't the result of handing out bannings. I have faith, perhaps foolishly, that this can happen. I know you all are capable of behaving like decent mature human beings.

I deleted the post because it was trolling. He didn't even get an infraction. You say you can see that the post was trolling, and so can numerous other people.

But then again this type of thing always leads to "moderate unbiasedly". To be honest there aren't enough hours in the day to moderate unbiasedly. Every post in every thread in every forum can't be read every time. I see a report, i do a quick glance over and see if it was actually trolling. If you want to report posts 3 and 16 as trolling, go ahead and we'll talk about it as a group, like we always do, and go from there.

I've met miros and some of the staff in game. They are cool headed people and I haven't had any negative experience with them. I think that managing a site is extremely annoying. Especially when you have a flameboard involved.

I'm not popular here on QCDN and I don't really have anything against the people who own this site of manage it. If I dont like the way I'm treated or don't like the way the moderation team handles the site, I simply goto a different site. Its futile to complain about. It boils down to, they own the site, its theirs and they dont HAVE to do anything they dont want.

There is no doubt there is favoritism and there is NO doubt some people are allowed to say and do things without any deletion or consequences while others, particularly people who aren't so liked are not treated equal to another member. However big or small the edits/deletes/warning/punishments/bans etc may be for whatever reason, it is beyond any shadow of a doubt that there most certainly is favoritism with some people inside and outside the moderation team.


Its a fact. Its been this way since a long time. Its no secret and judging from all the many threads from people calling people out on it, its safe to say, its quite apparent.


However, this is their site. If you don't like it there are plenty of other sites to connect and chat and talk to others.
Thats not a dig or a stab at the mods or anyone close to the mods but to deny or say there is in fact no favoritism is simply a lie. I'm sorry but it is. Whether people realize there are doing it or not, its obvious.

If you know your are not going to like what someone has to say there is an ignore feature. My personal opinion was the delete was childish and unnessicarily and it seems it has a little more to do with something personal than Deja just out right trying to be a douche. We all know who the people are that allowed to flamebait and say whatever they wanna say to whomever in any forum on qcdn without any delete or consequences. To mod team, I have np with you guys. I am quite aware of how this site works and you guys own this site. You are in your ever right to run it how you want whether it be fair or not and anyone who has a problem with how you run your site can leave. Its really that simple but to suggest there is no favoritism is a lie. A better approach if you want to stop people from critizing the mod team is to just say "We own and run this site. Get over it. If you dont like it leave." By saying there is no favoritism you set yourselves up for the constant criticism because there is whether you would like to admit it or not, whether you mean to or not, there is favoritism.
