Marvel vs Capcom 2

I agree with Fire on not paying $300 for an original. I just like to make money of those people who will.

And I am sick of people saying FFVII is the greatest FF game ever. Sephiroth was a pussy with an Oedipal complex. Kefka blew up the fucking world. I think it's pretty easy to see who wins here.

Sephi tried but was stopped. Sephi became a mutant. FFVII wins. I kid. I agree Kefkha is pretty awesome.

He was stopped. Exactly my point, thank you lol

Yes, limited production.

Exactly. Sephiroth didn't make the game, the story and the soundtrack made the game. Sephroth just helped it. And besides Sephiroth is cooler looking than kefka, including his weapon.

This may be a little off topic but X-Death from FFV was pretty bad too. I just didn't get a chance to finish the game to see how the end of the game turned out.

All in all, they were both defeated eventually.

Thats like saying someone who lives a long life and accomplishes what they want is defeated when he dies of old age. Kefka pretty much ended like that, sans the old age. His plans saw fruition, and he actually lived to see it happen. Sephiroth died while his was still in motion, and it was stopped.

Sephiroth is full of failure. Kefka is full of success.
Sephiroth's driving force is mommy issues. Kefka is genuinely insane.

Zeromus was better thread destroyed

Zeromus didn't accomplish his plans either :(

Plus, he's beaten by a team with Edge. Edge is a pansy.

Exdeath was the best. "Oh hey guys... you're just in time to see me wipe out a few cities. While you watch."

Sephiroth burned an entire city to the ground too, and Cloud watched.
Kefkha was a fucking clown. Enough said. Clowns are retarded, not insane. Sephiroth was insane and was alot cooler than any other bad guy. Maybe Kefkha was more powerful, but that doesn't make him cooler. Anyway, like we said, Sephiroth doesn't make the game, VII was the best because of the gameplay and the story, both were the best in any rpg I've ever played. I've never played VI, but I've seen a few minutes of it and know what the gameplay is like, and VII was so much better.

Its no contest, Sephiroth gets all the yaoi fangirls. That's success that you can take to the bank.

lol How was the gameplay so great for VII? I swear, the only reason people actually like VII is because for most, it is the first FF they have ever played. The story was mediocre at best, and the gameplay was nothing new.

Pretty much, yeah. The music was good, but thats because it made the jump from midi to actual orchestra. If 4 or 6 made the jump, 7'd lack it's torchlight.

Materia system is one of my favorite setups. One of the big reasons why I like that game so much. You could pretty much customize your characters anyway you like. The story had a "dark" setting too. Sephiroth is a dark villian. I'm a fan of "dark" stories, characters, villians ect. Now I don't doubt a bit FFVI is good. Its got a dark plot too, its just I never got around to finishing the game. The game is fun, from what I've seen of the story, it was pretty good. I just like FFVII better personally.

And yeah Kefka succeeded, sephiroth didn't but we still have no true way of knowing who was stronger. The heroes they dealth with could be on different levels of skill. We have no way of knowng if the heroes in VI are stronger than VII or vice versa. This can affect the success of a villian. Would Sephiroth still fail if he was in VI? Would Kefka still destroy the world if he was in VII? We'll never know the outcome therefore we'll never know who the stronger villian is unless they face off one on one which will never happen. If it did, the creators of SE would favor sephiroth due to the popularity of his character which wouldn't be a true test of skill. It would be winning a popularity contest. I just personally think a man in black trench with a 20' sword is cooler than some clown regardless of who really was more successful.

MvC2 is by far my favorite 2D fighting game. I was able to get a free copy at work when my friend was trading in all his old PS2 stuff. At the time we were selling the game for like $55. It's also a great party game for your drunk friends >> once you have all the character unlocked.

I want to take you for a ride!!!

I don't really understand why people would pay 300 bucks for the original when you pick up a 20 dollar re-release in the store. ... I only understand rare games that weren't rereleased, you have to pay top dollar in order to play them.

I paid $60 for Final Fantasy Tactics on eBay because it was rare and out of print.... and then three months later it was rereleased as part of the "Greatest Hits" line. /sigh
