Massive Sigs and Avatar Images....

Why can some of you not get this right?
If your Avatar image is not 100 px x 100 px crop it! Can you not read or something? You're messing up the format of the board!! FIX IT!

If your avatar does not look like this :

Crop the damn thing.

If your sig image is bigger than this:

Take it down!

Some of these threads have more images than text and it's annoying :evil:

Would it be possible to, like... put in some actual punishment for repeat offenders? A warning or two, then the public massacre of their sig / avatar (Admin editing their profile with a 'modified' sig)?

Please keep Avatar images to no larger than 100x100 pixels, and no larger than 10kb in file size.
Please keep Signature images to no larger than 550x200 pixels, and no larger than 50kb in file size.

"Zomg! His avatar and sig is too big, let's all bitch and moan! We should keep hating, and complain. Let's make him look like he is sinful! GAHAHA"

Yes, and you can easily say: "Check the forum rules" but some/most people don't. And if they did, people make mistakes. They could of forgot, you know. If it bothers you THAT much, PM them about it before posting a thread about it all.

No, this has been a recurring problem for some time, just that Ronith is a recent and effective example, because his sigs are so much larger than everyone else's (And he's the only one I can think of with the Avatar problem as well)

I mean, seriously... Some people still run their comps at 800x600... that sig alone breaks the thread at that resolution.

If it's a reoccuring problem, have you tried PMing them before? If you've PM'd every person that has a sig and/or avatar too large, then i'll shut up right now.

And the only reason it was that size is i've seen avatars bigger than mine and hadn't noticed a punishment so i figured that there was no restrictions on ava/sig size.
