Just going by my own experience and every other blm I have spoken to about this subject. I guess they were all under the same rock.


I actually don't mind lack ofnormal party invites. They don't benefit the blm or the melee/rdm/brd. Just stating that the manaburn thing is waaay overstated by people who do nothing but tp burn. TP burn is cool but don't try and justify it with an overstated and often bogus manaburn only argument. It may have existed, but nothing like to the extent of tp burns of recent times.

Manaburns were never common before level 70, ever. Know why? The best exp you could get was tank SC1 SC2 healer refresher blm, and there weren't that many blms. Seeing 4-5 blms lfg at the same level 40-70 was like seeing 3 brds lfg at that level, it was extremely rare. And blms didn't invent burn parties, drgs did, but nobody remembers the days when drg did unmatched damage.

If I had 4 BLM and a BRD I would rather had 5 members than a PLD 6th.

If it was 4 BLM and a RDM then maybe something with /BRD would be useful.

I mean, yes, another WAR is more useful to a TP burn, but at least a BLM DOES something.

But if you don't have that pld as your 6th, who's going to wake the mob with an uber 20 damage hit and MPK your blms?

So all you wanted was the list of camps where a blm could join an exp party? Just because you know where you can camp doesn't mean that people will actually join or want to go there.

I had a blm in a semi-cannon the other week, who was incapable of casting stun until just after the Mamool's -ga just hit everyone. That was with me saying stun as soon as it started casting. Give me some blm's worth a damn and I'd be willing to invite them more often to exp, but most of them just want to nukebot.

No I'm tired of losing 20 k a week in end game activities then the only access I have to xp is soloing it back or manaburning in a camp where melee try to take over. Like I said it's making me considering retiring BLM. Dying six times at Kirin so someone else can get god gear is great, if that person is willing to invite me to their xp party later. There are few end game pieces I'm interested in or need, and I begin wondering exactly why I'm even going to all this trouble. I'm gonna create a new character and level bst to 75 again lol, or maybe I'll just quit playing completely, I'm just getting sick of not getting any parties. If you are looking for BLMS worth a damn they've probably all gotten smart enough to figure out that end game is lots of death with very little reward, and no one wants to join you in gaining back the lost xp and have gone on to do more productive things.

If you're losing 20k exp per week, either get a whm in your LS or get better tanks.

The reason no one is inviting blm's is because, as has been said many times now, black mages are more of a hinderence than a help in level 75 exp parties. The lack of IT-mob camps where a skillchain would be useful means that you'd never MB, which is where you'd really shine. You can get the exp back, you just don't like the multiple avenues available to you, so you're blaming everyone else. Make some friends and party with them, I've partied with less-desired exp jobs before because they were friends, no reason you can't do the same.

Oh, and all the good blm's are off soloing or manaburning or partying with friends already, they already figured out how to get the exp they need.

I'd kill to be able to solo 5k+ an hour on one of my jobs. All jobs I've had to end game level have been party dependant. DRK and PLD don't get invites much, and after nerf RNG never got invites.

I understand what you mean, but BLMs aren't in the worst boat when it comes to meriting. I'll tell you what I tell myself and every other person who LFGs too long, make your own PT.

I do dynamis twice a week, limbus, jailers, sky farming, minis, kirin, and HNM hunting. That's a lot of opportunity for death. The tanks are great, the whms are great, and yet I eat dirt.

Nobody is putting a gun to your head and telling you to do these things, you choose to do them. You know what the XP situation is like. Now deal with it.

You have it a whole lot better than DRG DRK PLD THF who don't get pt invites or into end game shells. They would give their right arm to get 5k an hour, it's a whole lot better than sitting around Whitegate staring at their moogle.

Shit, I would even do it on WAR. Most cannons net you 5-15k in about 2 hours with all the forming and crap. Then some other cannon shows up and fucks up XP and people lose interest. Long time cannons only happen at times between NA and JP primtimes.

With a Raise 3, you're dying 80 times a week, so unless your tanks really blow that number is too high.

Your point is you want to join exp parties; you don't seem to care about how you can get more exp without joining a standard party, how you're lowering the exp for those in that melee party, or how SE didn't make enough exp camps where a skillchain+MB would be useful. So, you want to force 5 random people to get less exp with you, I wonder why the invites aren't just pouring in. If you have enough friends to form a party(I never meant to suggest that you didn't have friends, sorry), then party with them and stop whining.

I've had to go through the lack of exp invites before on two different jobs, but I never raised it to the level of "get me exp or I won't help you" selfishness that you're showing here. I understand your point, you just don't seem to be listening to all of the valid reasons why we don't invite blm's; you're just whining for the sake of whining at this point. I don't hear any of the lesser desired jobs whine nearly this much, not even pld who is in a far worse position than blm ever was.
