I'm still upset THF don't get TH3 at 75. They get it at 15 and 45, next should be... /gasp. /em stomps off.

TH3 is at 70. You just have to pay big bucks or camp it for months. And then TH4 at 75.

I don't think you guys are getting the point, suggestions like "Getting Jubaku: ni at level 54" and "Low level Mazurka". Merits are for level 75s. You have to be level 75 to obtain merits.

Also, Chiimi missed out the image for SMN's merit oportunitys:

Now if you remember there was a big hoohaa about this, at the same time SE added in the AoE debuffs for RDM and WHM, aswell as Tier III Bio and Dia, and gave AMII an MP cost... Add it all up, I bet you they will be some of the merit oportunitys.

I'm hoping RDM gets a meritable Clear mind, and BLM gets something that's not going to be a gigantic waste of MP like tier 1 AM.

Except those .dats have been around forever. Breakga, atleast, since Dynamis was introduced. And I know theres mobs around that have used Silencega.

Well SE said that rdm will get new spells as well^^

I won't be suprised if Blms get tier V nukes, rdm needs aoe debuffs and higher tiers
 
Teir 2 AM is in the .Dats.
 
I'm glad I saved my merit points up for this update >.>; Sadly, they're only at 5 atm.

Oh common we all know SE wouldnt do that, it would make sence, and that would be just silly.

If we got AM2 as the only consolation prize to having magic get resisted, i'm using my merits for BST. AM2 is going to be the most useless waste of MP in the entire game. Unless it can single handedly take off 2k+ w/o any MAB theres no reason to use it. And as for teir 5 nukes, I'd rather not be one of the first guinea pigs by wasting merits on thunder5.

I know that its easy to out dd am with the highest tier spell but, why skip out on the tier V nukes?
 
seeing this makes me want to go merit my kitty ass off now I want the new BPs sadly looks like we can only get 2 from the list

No, you can get 6 upgrades, not spend 6 points.

And nobody else pointed out that they cost 3 points for the first upgrade, so even those with merits saved up are only going to scratch the surface on upgrades.

I'm glad I've been saving up some merits for just this update, I want to get some of the new whm abilities.
 
I still want hastega for WHM XD

AM2 for blm... hmm.. dont know if it would be that what i want to merit in the near future...
 
4-8 New abilities, I'm not sure what they could give to ninja. The San line of elementals would be too powerful unless they had ichi length cast times, Jubaku: ni maybe, utsusemi/hojo/kurayami: san I seriously doubt. Maybe they'll just toss out some gimp new ja's that allow us to hide or crit hit. Some self haste JA would just be sexy though. :)

I don't see meritable dual wield, that's a job trait. SE said at fan fest that it would be abilities and spells, no mention of job traits.
