Thanks guys, Act 4 is such a breeze with chaff grenades
 
I have a plan to only use 1 Chaff in Act 4, maybe 2 but I doubt it.
 
I used 3 chaff grenades. Main tank hangar (throw from the main entrance, just run straight through and into the canyon), blast furnace (throw right before you would reach the cargo elevator door from mgs1, trigger the codec call, then quickly run to the elevator straight to the back), and the north casting facility (throw from beginning, just be careful to avoid the gekko beams as you can still get caught in them, proceed to underground base.)
 
The third one you mentioned is easily remedied with a Rail Gun or the Anti material Rifle and slowly walking.

I'm worried about the blast furnace but my plan consists of taking out all the ones that can see me near the elevator(the ones on the walls, and the two who patrol the walk way) and just waiting the main caution out in that room where they can't enter.
 
HOLY **** the new MGO mode is amazing :D (Team Sneaking). One team has stealth camo, and only non-lethal weapons while the other team has lethal weapons. The stealth team has to either bring he duck or frog to the goal in order to win, the other team has to kill the stealth team.

The catch however is that if a stealth member gets hit everyone's stealth camo gets disabled for 5 seconds, and then you're pretty much screwed, so it requires more patience, and skill to overcome this mode. I'm having a blast :D

Also, I'm on my 6th MGS4 playthrough now, at the mantis fight, soon I'll have my Assassin Creed costume :D. Then I will play through the game with no alerts, or restarting with saves. :D
 
*Massive amounts of swears* It sucks so much to get near a zone only to get an alert.
 
Octo bitch is fucking mean <_< Ball form at 3/4th health. Like god damn. Yes, I know how to dodge it but I got caught by surprise and there were so many frogs in one spot making it hard to walk.


Fuck, I beat Act 2 but I think during the Drebin chase I killed someone by mistake.

Act 2 down. time is 2:38 so far. It was 5 hours not 4? If it's 4, I think I'm screwed.

It's 5 hours. You might just make it on time (need to factor in 17 minutes for credits that are unskippable). I think Act 3 will make or break it.

That Npc in Act 3 is fucking pissing me off. A fart in the wind scares him now <_<
 
I just finished the game now, 3:30 in the morning. Damn it's making me think hard.

First of all, the gameplay was amazing. Beautiful, fun, smooth, everything a MGS should be and I'm impressed by how much it was inovated from its past games. It was a blast to play.

Like all MGS games, this one pulled at my heart strings hard core, more then MGS3. Although I still don't understand half of the things in the game and what was what, mostly because I don't remember the past games too well and that I missed half the things that were being said, the characters and story were so freaking awesome. Meryl and Jonny, Raiden and Rose, Snake and everything about him. It really does make you think about life and analyse it. The ending was absolutely perfect.

Nothing more I can really say except that I won't be playing through it again to recieve that Big Boss rank or anything like that, at least not for a while. I can't go through that story again, unless I was to skip through all the cut scenes. I'm too emotional with video games. Sometimes it's hard to forget that these people aren't even real. I'm sure some people know what I mean by that. At the end of the day, it was a sad ending because the story was over, but it was such a happy one.

Everyone knows that this is the end of the MGS storyline. Think anything new will come out of this? A new saga of some sort?
 
I just noticed, on the back of the game case they call Snake a "HERO." I think he's a hero for sure. What do you all think?
 
Snake is more of a tool. No one tells him anything and he still ended up doing what the bad guys wanted. And I still don't like Raiden.
