MGS4 on 360 1st

Hrm.. this is a little close to April 1st.. Might be too dangerous to be excited.
 
yeah that page doesnt look official because of the address, and it links back to the jp page for konami.
besides, this would be all over major game sites by now

Metal Gear Solid 4 to release on Xbox 360

KONAMI CORPORATION

Konami Corporation (Konami) is happy to announce the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will release for the Xbox 360 game console in Q1 2008. The game will release for PlayStation 3 game console soon after, pending the conclusion of a limited exclusivity agreement with Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft). Through joint effort with Microsoft, Konami will bring Xbox 360 gamers exclusive online game content and gameplay modes through the Xbox Live service.


Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is the follow up to 2004's highly successful Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Gamers will return to the story of Solid Snake in the events following 2001's Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. Now an aging and exhausted operative in the middle of a futuristic battlefield, Solid Snake must battle his own declining genetical makeup. In spite of his failing body, Snake is equipped with a crucial new device tentatively known as "OctoCamo," a high-tech suit that dynamically transforms its texture based on Snake's surroundings.

Maybe i can view it cause i have Japanese language installed in my PC ? You can do this with you're windows CD.

no its in english ant, its just that its the only english thing i see, when u click those links at the bottom its all japanese. and the links go to a different address, than the one provided here which is a blog spot.
 
May be an April Fool's joke now, but I wouldn't be surprised in the least if at the new "E3" Konami announces it will release on 360(and possibly PC) as well(not before PS3 version though)

well most of the other Metal Gear Solid games have been made for the other systems so I wouldn't doubt.. maybe.. but it would be too large for one DVD9 disc I think (if Hideo really wants uncompressed stuff >.>)
 
Other consoles usualy get the second release of the game (Substance, Subsistance, ect) but the primary release is always single-platform.
 
Hideo looks so freakin young O.o I thought he was like in his 40s or so.. lol
 
well they did add some backing of Hideo's insane "UNCOMPRESSED GO!!!!!!" wish and how much space that'd take :P (it seems many companies are trying hard to avoid multi-disc games when they can).

but that isn't enough to say it wouldn't have come at all, I agree about that. Well there's another confirmed fun exclusive for the PS3 coming up. Shame they aren't out now or the system would be doing much better.
 
That's hilarious.. fanboys are so stupid sometime. It's not like the 360 doesn't already have a good library with more good upcoming games :P no need to bitch over one.
 
well MGS4 will be a great game surely. as for 360 port, glad there is some sort of clairity now. maybe he will do as SE is, making exclusive games for each console. i myself am not much into MGS, did like MGS2 tho! there is a similar game coming out that is 360 exclusive i forget the name.. am sure it wont be as good a story and twisted a plot as MGS4 tho.
