OK I have had a millionaire's desk for sometime and when I first bought it I thought I noticed a rise the drops I was getting. However, I totally forgot I had one and now I am wondering if helps at all. Can anybody tell me their experience with millionaire's desk and is it worth keeping.
Thank you.

I thought the Millionaire's desk was for helping with Conquest points not drops...

There are rumors that it adds some sort of TH feature, but that is what I am looking to find out.

rumor has it then u have to have it in your layout of your moghouse. then u have to have atleast 1M gil for this rumored extra TH. then if u have over 10M u get another TH. and I think thats about it other then CP. I have not personally tried it yet fyi, this is just something someone has told me awhile back.

Personally me and my good friend Unphazed had one .... and we noticed even crappier drop rates with it ;). It did make us a lil richer when he sold it cause the price of the desk had risen quite a bit I believe hehe.

it only helps with Conquest Points...

I think people saying it helps just THINK it helps...

I wonder why people are so desperate to find some item, or combination of items that will give them all the perks of levelling a thief 15 or 45 levels, without actually doing so? You can't just put a maple table in your house, carry a giant femur in your inventory and/or eat a piece of hare meat and get dual weild, and I can't imagine any crazy combination of things granting th1 or th2. Thief may or may not be a fun job to level (in my oppinion it's not, but you know what oppinions are worth), but the only way to get the perks of being a thief are to level thief.

Why would enix create hidden effects that have no way to varify.Probably bunch of woodcrafters bullshitting.Anyways i've heard tungi axe improves drop rate on beastmen also.

Isn't a Millionaires deskmade from Smithing? :?

Just goes to show how bright you are, WSM.

It used to sell for 350k until this rumor hit the mill. Look at the items that give treasure hunter. We're talking dozens of millions of gil-equivalent assets. Assassin's gloves. Thief's knife. That's all.

All these other items...mandy leaves, lucky eggs, desks...they're charms. Nothing more. Can't hurt to have them, but I'm going to roll my eyes at you if you're a L40 rdm thinking you have TH4. Now I won't make fun of people who keep these items, but for the record none of these items even remotely hold a candle to official TH items in terms of difficulty to get. Do you REALLY think square is going to let a blm get TH2 for 850,000 gil? Th3 with a silly mandy leaf that drops like crabapples for me in yhoator? Th4 with a lucky egg by the time they hit boyhada tree?

No. To get TH4 you have to wear 40 million gil and a Dynamis-Xarcabard drop in your hands as a L75 thief. There is no TH5, 6, 7, and 8. If there were, the desk would drop off Vrtra in power mode only.

Don't waste your money on a Millionaire's desk unless you want to pay for what it says it does. Because it does what it says it does.

The only reason people think they get a better drop rate is because they are told it gives TH, which it doesn't. Think of it like a placebo, it's all in your mind.

Goldsmithing <3

Ah, I figured since the description includes Darksteel, that it'd be smithing. But hey, atleast an educated guess is better than "all furniture comes from woodworkers!!!!!!!" comments :P

the mil desk my pretty sure is false but the lucky egg no so sure of. It not like you keep it the egg a rare drop on it own and you can only use it once. Though I only know this secound hand because ive never tryed the egg. though those that have said it give better chances.

only effect it has is conquest points...end of story. no hidden effect, no TH, nothing but CP

The Lucky Egg is for the Opo-opo Crown quest, and that's all. Like others have said, anything else is just in your mind. :P

Nuh-UH!

If you eat it you get 15 HP/MP and 10 Evasion 8)
